CHECKING IN ...

First blog, for 2008. Hope everyone is having a great start to thier new year ! I have had so much going on, it is 3 am, cold as hec, and I just got a chance to sit down. I wanted to finally check in before bed, so here I am.

I had to first change all my settings due to someone stealing my photos of Gracie - and since I want to share them only with my trusted and good friends, I had to put all my info on friends only status. I had really not wanted to do that - but having my photos being taken, especially of the kids - really creeped me out, so I had no choice. I hope that all of you can still veiw my blogs, I didn't mean to offend anyone if You can't - but then again - if you can't - you wouldn't be reading this anyway I suppose.

The photo I included today is of Gracie, but it is from about 2 weeks ago. I took it with my phone and have been trying to send it to my email ever since, it wasn't working till I went to my phone carrier and had them fix the problem ... now I can send the photos again ....whew - thank goodness ! I do have new photos to put up, but being it is 3 am and I am growing increseingly tired, I will do it the next chance I get.

Holidays were ok - nothing spactacular, it all seemed to go by so fast I didn't even have much time to enjoy it. Then again when you tend to get very little sleep it is already hard to enjoy things except for sleep ... lol. :O) I still have my tree up and will probably leave it up for a bit of time yet - maybe another week or so. It took me so long to get it up this year and all, time went too fast. When do you all take yours down ?

Adam went back to work on the 2nd, I was thankful - however he has been in such a mood lately. I don't know why. He got into an arguement with his CSM and she told him not to come back .... sooooo - he came home yesterday at 2pm and didn't go back today .... I do not know what this means, but it isn't funny. Now granted - I understand this rude lady needed a talking to, I would have gotten my rude self in trouble long ago - but he shouldn't have gotten into trouble for it. He has changed his unit two times and I hope they will just change it again or put him away from this cranky old batalax .... as far as money goes, it is way too tight right now to have to deal with him staying home - not to mention that it gets kinda irritating with him around occasionally. Part of me just wishes he'd of dealt with it .... even though I know I wouldn't have myself. Grrrrr.

The kids went back to school on Wednesday as well. Booo hooo ! I would rather have them here, I like having them around. I can't wait till summer break is here - then they will be around every day. I still would homeschool them if only I could find the energy and time. Things take so long to get done lately as it is, but it would be better.

hmmmm - what else to say ?!! hmmmmmm ....
Oh man, I just spilled my soda.

There is nothing on the TV anymore but junk, but yesterday I was glad that Wife Swap and Supernanny was back on. I don't know WHY I actually like those shows .... Adam hates them, and they are the ONLY shows I watch that are new - I usually dislike all shows like that, but for some reason I actually like those. Weird. My fave shows lately are "Holmes on Homes", "Storm Chasers", "Twister Sisters", "Little People - Big World", and "Dr. G". I am a medical info freak, most of you know that - I like to watch anything medical - but alot of the shows have been in re run mode for a while now, so I have had to try to find other things to watch. Meteorology is very interesting, as is just basic construction knowledge. I think maybe soon I will have to stop by the library again for a good winter read. I was thinking about reading up on Forensic anthropology or forensic pathology. I haven't previously read about those.

UMMMM, right now I am hungry ... when I was pregnant everything tasted so good, but it don't so well anymore. I have lost weight though, totally good, I just need to lose more. I told my doc a good 80 or more pounds would be nice ... but he said 40 is more realistic for someone my height. Oh bother - I sat and talked to him a good hour the other day at my check up visit. I need more intellectual close friends here like him. I swear to you - he is the only normal person from this town !

OMG... people you are not going to believe this - but my girls have me watching one of THIER shows lately. Now, normally I watch "Everybody loves Raymond" in the evenings to relax, but they have been repeated several times here, so I was bored one evening and flipped to ..... ok, get this - hold onto your seat .... I flipped to and actually watched "HANNAH MONTANA". WWWHHHHAAATTTT ?!?!?!?! OMG ! OOO- k then --- normally - I really, really dislike most of them 'teeny bopper' like shows - you know - the ones with stupid giggley little girls ya wanna just smack ..... so ..... why is it, I like or seem to like this one ? I dunno - I just don't know. Hey, and before you ask, I know I am a country music fan, but Billy Ray was never a fave of mine and I hated that "Achey Breaky" song.... sooo that isn't it. But between "Hannah Montana" and Billy Ray's "Home at last" show on CMT, I am about Miley'd out here !! LOL ... who knew ! :O) ha, ha won't happen again soon.

Well - I am going to go for tonight - errr, morning I mean. I wrote way more than I thought I would, guess I had more to say than I had thought I did. lol.

Hope you are all having a great start to the new years, I have been keeping up with most all of you guys - even though I haven't left too many comments. I am sorry - I will TRY to be here and to write again soon as I can !
