Yeaaaa, like I really have time for this right now ..... I am lying on the sofa - dying. Well, ok - so it just sorta feels like it right now, but what the hec - I had a flu shot - did it not work or what ? I swear I think I just hacked up my right lung and my body hurts like someone punched me in a million different places. OOOOOO- k Lord ..... Do you KNOW that my house is a mess and I am going to go insane if I can't clean it soon ???!?!?!?!? Ughhhh.
Still have not put up the inside holiday stuff, it is still in the middle of the kitchen. I did get some of the kitchen cleaned up though - finally. I had dishes all over from Thanksgiving yet, and wanted to scrub out the cabinets before putting them away - perfect since some don't get used as often - so I got about 3/4 of that done .... yea, not all of it, but it did make me feel better. I know, I know .... how weird that I feel better when I get my stuff done around here .... but that is me.
OOOOh, as of 1:31 this morning, baby Gracie is 4 weeks old. Can you believe that ??????? It really has been a loooong 4 weeks, but on the other hand it don't seem possible that it has been so long. Hmmmmmm.
On another note, I think that since it has been 4 weeks, my PMS is coming back to torture me. YUK ! Surely one good thing about being pregnant - ya - not having to deal with that crap ! PMS makes me highly irratible and anal about stupid things .... ummm, like cleaning. So definitly think it is back - been that way alot this week. Want it to go away ... now !
Hannah had a doctors appointment with her orthopedist yesterday, so we all ended up going to LaCrosse for it. He said he sees no reason why she'd need to come back in the near future unless we see a problem, that was good news. Her foot has healed wonderfully since her surgery. We still have to see the neurologist for things - regarding her brain, etc. but atleast that is one thing out of our way. She actually likes going to the doctor though, so she was a bit disappointed and told the doctor she'd miss him. Guess that happens when you have to go alot, I ,on the other hand really don't like to go unless I HAVE to.
Well, Mr. Smokey Bones - our cat - has never returned. We really are fearing the worst. The other night the actual temp was -4 and the wind chill was worse, now unless someone took him in - I really don't know how he'd have made it. I hope he's ok. We've looked everywhere and I have worried all week about him, but he's no where to be found. I had two other friends lose pets this week and thankfully both of them returned. All I know, is that was the last pet we are having - I am NOT doing this again.
I started to do some of my Christmas cards this week. Adam went to Hallmark the other day - he likes them singing snowman things they have every year so he got me some cards too ..... Now, Normally I would usually have them out by now - but you all know I have not been in the mood - so that has been a hinderance- plus, I have not gotten Hannah's school pictures back yet, so I wanted to wait for them .... my printer isn't connecting right to my laptop either so I am having issues doing other pictures as well - like none of Cam or Grace ... wow, I am sooooo not prepared. I still wish the holidays would go away. I must admit it though - those Hallmark singing thingys are cute ..... Cameron has pushed the button on it ten dozen times already - sure to drive me nuts !
It keeps snowing here, we must have about 8 inches or more. Alot of the holiday deco outside is partially buried ... ha ha ha. I have been meaning to snap some pictures, but can't seem to motivate my lazy butt to get out the door to do so. When I do though, I will post them - as for this moment I hear it is supposed to stick around for a bit, so I think I have time.
Well, I realllllllllly should be up doing something ... I hate sitting around. I think I may go see if I have some cold pills somewhere - because this is just not working for me. I wish I really could take a day off, but if I did that I really would be sorry later. I need a maid or something. Ohhhh, besides Gracie just woke up again - she needs a bath, fun, fun ... but gotta be done. She don't like it. So if you'll excuse me, I will go for now. (lol ... just noticed that Cameron went to "talk" to the baby .... I'm taking too long and he's trying to feed her... it is soooo cute !!!! )) I will have to snap a pic !!!! )
