WHAT WAS I THINKING ?????

OOOOOkay, Can you believe this friends ?!?!?! I MISSED the friggin' race AGAIN !!!! And? WHO wins !!!! JEFFFFFFF ! OMG !!!! :O( I am SOOOOO - NOT a happy camper here folks !!!!!

Not one thing seems to be right this weekend. It's all backwards .... um, hence the title to my blog, ahem. But missing the race ... for the SECOND week in a row, when JEFF won both, was just the topper to the cake !!!!! Seems as though it is better luck for me not to watch ... I mean, he is 1st in points, which don't get me wrong, is FANTASTIC ... but I'm just ticked off that the ONLY two races I miss of the WHOLE frack head season ... JEFF wins both !!!!! That is just NOT right !!!!!!! (Durrrrr, wake up and smell the terds you bean head !)

Besides that ... How many other bazaar things can go on here this weekend. Um, let's see ... as we had planned to go to post today to watch the race at the bowling alley (which we do from time to time because the girls like to bowl instead of watching) Adam (who ended uo having to go to work for two hours this morning) calls me to tell me "Um,, you do know the race was last night - right? ... it was Lowe's" ... OMG, (it dawned on me) A NIGHT RACE ... HOW STUPID AM I ????? I was just dumbfounded, I cannot even believe that I FORGOT !!!!! WHAT kind of crud is that ????? WHAT kind of fan am I ????? As Most of you know, I am a MAJOR and severe JEFF nut (racing = life) ... so for me to forget, I must have been having some sort of brain fart or something, what was my malfunction !!!!! (As I slap self in head ) Then Adam tells me JEFF won ... "OKay, I say,,,,,,, you SAY WHAT ????? YOU HAVE GOT to be kidding MEEEEEEEE ... THIS IS NOT FUNNY MAN !!!!! WHAT kind of joke are you playing on me, dude ????? AHHHHHHHH !!!!! I am not happy - can you hear that ?!?!?" ..... OMG .......... PEOPLE I AM A FREAKTARD !!!!! We could have gone to post last night to watch the race ... but nooooooooo -We ended up going ahead and made a run to Menards (like Home Depot - if you didn't know) in Lacrosse last night after 4 when A got home to get the few things that we needed to finish up all our projects here - well, we did get a few things but they for some reason were out of alot of the other things we needed and somehow we STILL managed to forget a few things too. So anyway ... this we did while my race was on and JEFF was winning !!!!! HELLLLLLLO - like going to Menards was more important ????? YEAAA, right. WHAT was I thinking ?

As for today, nothing seems to wanna' go right again. We seem to be in a lost stooper and can't get motivated to get much done. The things that we are trying to work on keep going all awry and are not working out right. After my hubby came home this morning we decided that we'd try to finally get our new tub working but have had to run to the store like 5 times as we are suffering from some sort of major unorganized disfunction. Not usual for us. I am almost scared to try to even do anything else for it may just end up in a ball of chaos as well.

The one good thing is that I bought the kids some movie called "Surf's Up" because it was rated G and thought they might like it. They are watching it now, and I have not heard a peep from them - this after yesterday is a very welcomed thing to take hold of. I surely don't know what is going on the last few days here, maybe it is just the utter anticipation for the things that are to preceed in the next few weeks. Although I'm usually use to some form of chaos, this is not normal and it's driving me batty !!!
Perfect for Halloween, but not for me.

Speaking of Halloween ( I just reminded myself as I said that) Do you know, I STILL have no idea what we are going to do ???? I have bought no costumes and the kids don't even seem excited to go ... I have heard nothing about it from any one so far. I don't think I can afford even some Goodwill costumes right now - there is so much going on here, and it has been the farthest thing from my mind. Do they know this ? I know our church has some function happening, so maybe I will check that out. We usually go trick or treating (but not for long as it's usually cold here and we hate that) then go out for Pizza or soup - then play some games when we get home as the kids scope out what candy they've recieved. I mean, I have nothing against Halloween, but I just don't know what to do. Geeze. And to imagine ..... Christmas is not far off, I am going to be SOOOO unprepared - I can already tell ! I am never usually this way - what is my problem this year ??? Christmas ....... are you kidding .... don't even wanna' hear the word. Here is a pic of three of my kids from last year at Halloween.

Ugh, Well, guess I have vented enough for one day. I do feel better somewhat though so maybe that will help. I think I will go do yet another load of laundry and see what Adam is up to. I haven't heard much from him in a bit - so hopefully things upstairs started to work out better. I should be helping - shouldn't I ? I guess I will find something to do, I hate feeling useless.
