Well hello again everybody .... I have returned .... minus my old friend 'Puter. On Friday morning I went directly to Best Buy to retrieve my old pal - only to find out .... that he was truly gone. YYYYYep, the motherboard was fried, toast, kapoot - done. I was horrified .... I surely didn't expect them to say that to me. I will have ever learned my lesson for that one - leaving it on and all ..... Luckily though, the nice guys at "Geek Squad" were able to retrieve ALL of my info and save it all on disks for me - of course that cost me money, but I didn't mind that part, I found out that I had over 6000 pictures and more info than I ever thought was possible, so I was very glad that the hard drive was the only thing salvageable. Now, minus my good friend, I sit here with a new computer ... I am not quite adjusted or familiar with it and I haven't learned much about it or gotten too acquainted with it yet ... therefore I feel out of place and uncomfortable still using it .... But ... I guess that will come in time. I swear, it is so odd not having all my old stuff around, but oh well, I have to get used to that. I know they say things happen for a reason, but I don't know what reason it would be. I felt so guilty for costing us the price of a new computer, we really could have used the money for something else, but my hubby insisted that it be bought and bought that day so that I could use it. I tried to tell him that because I had left it on and neglected it, I didn't deserve another one right now, but that didn't work. Never the less .... It is a temporary item though, we do plan on buying a better model after Christmas, I seen some really awesome ones there .... just couldn't afford to buy them right now. Plus this one is a laptop, so I can take it anywhere, which is a totally good thing, but also bad since I am an addict here ! lol ! I mean I had wanted a laptop, just not wanting to lose my other 'puter so I'd have to buy one ... I still want a regular computer too, so that is probably what we'll buy.
As for my week, some days I got things done, while other days I didn't do much at all. My hubby will not let me do ANYTHING around the house much anymore and I know he is just looking out for me, but it is a bit annoying. So I do what I can and then rest while he is here ... kinda like today, he is painting the window trim outside and won't let me, so I am sitting here.
Went to the doctors appointment in LaCrosse a few days ago and ,y regular Doc sent me to her now because I wanted to deliver V-BAC and NOT C-Section .... but she wants for me to see a "perionatologist" to make sure that that is A-OK first, so I have to go back on the 13th to do that. Besides that, everything is good, heartbeat was well - between 150 amd 160 again and moving lots. I am quite uncomfortable some days now and the baby loves to lie pushing on my diaphram, so I get short of breath super easy and I hate that because it makes it immensely hard to get anything done. The doctor says because my last two babies were early that as of in a few weeks I am do actually DO NOTHING ... omg, me - do nothing, WTH is that, I don't think I can do that .... well, atleast I have a laptop now ... BUT? ! man, I am going to be bored !!!! How is this house going to even come close to surviving without me doing ANYTHING ?!?!?! WOW .... yea ....right ! well, we'll see how that goes !
The kids start school on Tuesday .. and I am not so thrilled about that at all. I am one Mom who HATES her kids going to school. I usually count down the time till they get home, even if I am busy. I don't know why I do that. We had wanted to home school this year, but obviously that didn't work out as planned. I am thinking about having Cameron (who will be 3 in Oct.) go to something one or two days a week, I think that would be nice for me to have sometime before the baby comes to myself during the day - he is quite a crazy toddler and always keeps me on my toes ! Problem is though, that I have NEVER - no, not EVER - not in 16 years - used a sitter of any sort, no family or nothing, I trust very little people, so I don't know if I can do it or not ... now - maybe if it is someone at church I would be more willing, but like a normal daycare, that kinda scares me.
Anyway, finally got all my kids school shopping done, lol, not too soon I guess. Went this last Friday when we were in LaCrosse and they got all thier shoes at the mall, Hannah; who won't have to wear the brace on her left foot this year, went to Penney's and was finally able to get a regular pair of tennis shoes, she picked out some purple Nikes which she likes alot. Now Brittany and Jordan decided to pick out some odd shoes I really don't care for called "ETNIES" or something .... I dunno, but they look like thug shoes to me and I don't like them in the least bit. The price was pretty comparable to what we paid last year, but they better not fall apart or I will be pretty ticked off. I also told them that they have to stay tied, I don't care what other kids do or not, no reason to look like a thug. ! They are lucky that this year we are being leaniant and letting them go away with out thier Khaki's and dress clothes. Brittany was pretty excited that I decided to let her pick out two pair of jeans instead of the long skirts, but Hannah refused to wear anything but, so that is okay with me. I'm sorry folks, I do not think kids need to dress like thugs, but in moderation, we are conservative christians and are pretty strict about that ! If you don't like it, too bad ! They are supposed to go to school to learn, not to have a fashion show. However, (confusing - I know) we do let our kids wear an occasional few things from Hollister or Limited Too etc, as long as they are within our limits. So that is where we went next, Jordan picked out four t-shirts at Hollister and Brittany picked out one. Brittany also needed some new bra's and panties, which she found at Limited Too ... by that time, I had totally had it with the mall experience - call me old - or call me ticked about dropping so much in such a short time, but I was SOOOOOO ready to go !!!! No more mall for a while ... I hope that I don't see the mall for a long time ! They are done and hopefully it will be Christmas before I have to think of it again !
Well everyone, it is good to be back, I sure have lots to catch up on - you crazy bloggers you - and reading everyones stuff is gonna take some time - hope you don't mind, but I will leave comments when I can. I am off for now to go outside and see how the hubby and kids are doing as well as get our bon fire ready, trees we cut down last weekend are ready to go, so tonight as good a time as any I suppose. We're gonna have hot dogs too, and the kids like that, so I will be ack tommorrow or Monday !
