ANOTHER DAY .....

Good Morning everyone ! I hope that you all had a great weekend and Labor Day, Ours was okay although we remained busy through most of it - getting many things done around here. With fall soon around the corner and cold temps soon to come - we finished up as much as we could outside. I was finally able to finish painting and caulking around the window trim outside and it looks so much nicer, I painted the stairs going down into our empty basement and that looks nice as well - we had the bonfire on Saturday and all of the trees we had cut up burned , we transplanted a red Maple tree to another location and got some more things done in the garage, so I am pretty satisfied as to what we got done. (p.s. the race sucked !)

Today however is different, I think I am just not going to do alot. The kids were up at 5:30 to get ready for thier first day of school and we were out the door by quarter to 7. I always drive them on the first day, but I can't drive them everyday. I wish I could though as we really do not like our kids bus driver - we call him "Horrible Harold" ... lol. He is a big, old, nasty, cranky man that is really weird. I called the bus garage several times last year on him for "picking" on my kids amd not letting them sit together when they wanted to, (easier for Hannah) for kissing the neighbor girl and paying her "special attention" and by playing innapropriate music about a "Lady Bump" or something. Anyway - nothing was ever done and I refuse to put up with it this year, we had planned to home school, but since that didn't quite work out as planned - I have no choice to deal with it.

What I SHOULD be doing right now is cleaning this house ..... but I dunno, I am just not in the mood. I dropped the kids off this morning, (not wanting them to go) - then Cameron and I went to the Post Office and Wal- Mart where I got some thread to sew Hannah's blanket that ripped, a donut and Cameron picked out a Banana. We came home and ate our selections and Cameron watched a show on the Tele called "Diego" - he seemed to like it. Now I am sitting here and just noticed that Cam climbed up on the sofa and fell asleep. LOL - guess he was tired, as doing that is really pretty unusual for him. I thought I would be busy chasing him around most of the day, but not as of yet. Hmmmmmmm ....... Other than that , I was thinking of going to the park or doing some laundry .... sewing that blanket or just tinkering around here doing something. I am sure that as the regular schedule fits back in to our lives that it will seem a bit more normal and not so boring.

I am still not too used to this new computer, it is not running like my other one and I sooooo miss it ! I know, it is a laptop, but I just liked my other one better. I guess maybe it is the familiararity of it and all not having to do things differently. I still can't access the other photos, but that is okay, I haven't had much chance to use them, I suppose I should go ahead and download them from the disks that Besy Buy gave me, but I just haven't done it yet. Maybe today it is something that I will do.

On the other hand, today is the one year anniversary of Steve Irwin's passing. Most of you know I was a pretty BIG fan of his, and have watched most every one of his shows. I still can't believe that a man with such a life force as he had can be gone, (let alone a year already!) it isn't fair to this world when someone who actually does good has to die when there are so many others that do such horrible things on this planet that have to stay. I just don't understand the universe sometimes or why things have to happen the way that they do. I truly miss watching newer programs of his and hearing about all of his adventures. One thing is for sure tonight, I will be glued in front of my Tele watching Animal Planet's unseen footage and "Secrets of the Crocodile".....

I do have to say this though - PETA can go suck a brick .... to start up controversey now about Steve Irwin being cruel and causing animals un-needed stress is rediculous ! You people seriously need to get a life, do you not realize that you are on the terrorist watch list or what ??????!?!?!?... no one cares !!!! If it weren't for Steve's extrodinary energy and excentric way of being, ALOT of people would know NOTHING about animals , let alone helping them or knowing of thier problems. HE ALONE was thier voice ! It was about knowledge and conservation folks, not being ignorant !

Well, having said that, I think I just may go lie down for a second and relax while Cameron is napping. Good time to do that ! Besides .... the baby is lying all up into my diaprahm this morning and it is absolutely uncomfortable !!!! I can't wait till this is over .... whew !!!! Not too much longer !!!!
