BLOGERIFIC !!!!

Well - hello again everybody, once again it is another Monday - another week of the kids going to school, another week of the hubby going to work and me staying at home .... doing the many things that I do here. I thought I would do a thought blog today but first I will fill you in on what we did for the weekend.

Friday of course, I left off with not looking forward to my IVIG treatment at Mayo. I went to bed but no matter what I did I couldn't seem to fall asleep. I laid there on and off till about 4 am, took a shower and finally fell asleep sometime close to sun - up. At about 8 am then it was time to go - Of course, I dragged my butt out of bed and to the car, sleeping most of the whole ride there. Once I got there, the hubby dropped me off and went to park while I checked in. They set me up rather quickly actually ... gave me some Tylenol and Benadryl in case I had some reaction to the treatment, they waited about 20 minutes then started the IV .... good to go. UGH, YEA..... so I thought. I had to literally get up every 20 minutes to go pee, all that fluid going into my small bladder atm was not helping, plus the Benadryl they gave me made me feel so dang groggy that I couldn't even think straight. (I hate Benadryl) and they came in every half hour to take my blood pressure which was annoying. Ok, I was tired, could be from not sleeping or could be in part because of the Benadryl or it could be both. The whole week I had thought it would be an issue for me to even sit for hours, but it wasn't ... all I could do was sleep !!! I had brought my computer, to do my promised blog, but with me being so groggy I was left just feeling bad for not doing it and my hubby brought movies, so apperantly he'd had other idea's for my computer than what I'd had. I am sorry that I didn't get that blog up, but it will be soon to come I promise. ~*~ The ride home I slept all the way again and then went stright to bed ... go figure .... that stuff really wiped me out. NOw, I am really not looking forward to the next time, I hate down time !!!

As for Sunday - I guess I am one of the lucky ones who get those oh so lovely side effects. Morning went ok, got up to help get more on the bathroom done, but an agonizing and most horrific back ache was stalking me and by evening, rendered me near useless. I puttered on doing little, watching the race (duh), sweeping the floor etc. but - I must say that side effect was the worst back ache I have EVER, EVER had .... I was beginning to worry it was premature labor or something .. but thank goodness today it seems to have subsided.

Today now is Monday and I will utter some of my thoughts to you -

1) I think when I finish this blog I will go back upstairs to putter around with some small things that need to be done. While I will be glad to have a bathroom in my room now, I hate all the drywall dust that is all over EVERYTHING !!! I swear, I clean it for it only to be back !

2) It took me along time to decide on a paint color for the bathroom and I still don't know if I truly like it ... errr, my hubby will be so mad at me if I tell him I want to change it again. Grrrrr - why can't I make up my mind ?!?!?

3) The baby is kicking me in the bladder and my son Cameron just got a blueberry muffin all over my living room .... ugh, why is it he thinks it is so funny ? I thought turning on the TV would keep him quiet, but since we don't usually watch it - that idea didn't work ... not such a good idea after all I guess.

4) I was so sleepy and crappy feeling the last few days that I left my cell phone in the van and my hubby went to work with it still in there .... I don't have a house phone as we just use the cell phones to save money - so I find that I am missing it. Funny though, I usually only talk to the hubby anyway ....

5) My kids are in school as it is Monday again ... We are REALLLLLLY contemplating this time about the home schooling thing. I am pondering about going to go get the forms to fill out, but just have to find the proper stuff to do it all. I won't homeschool my 10th grader though, because in WI they will not give a HS diploma if you are homeschooled, so since he is set already, we think we'll just leave him in public school. The girls however are bringing home what we call "school attitudes" .... you know where you can tell they've been around so and so - etc. grrrrrr - a major dislike that we have !!! All goes so well here in the summer ! I really dislike the attitudes that come home with them somedays. So many bad influences at school anymore - makes me wonder what they are REALLY learning there.

6)My son Cameron is so smart, I think I have obviously underestimated him. He just went to the closet, opened the drawer that I have the diapers in - pulled one out - brought it to me - then lied down on the floor and pointed to change him ..... UM, OK ..... definitly time to potty train this little guy ! Wow - suprised me with this one, he may be 3 in a few weeks but since he don't really do alot of talking yet, I thought that he wouldn't understand, um, guess I might be wrong there !?! Shhhesh, I can't believe that I waited so long ... Jordan was 15 months when he learned, dang what is my problem !!!

7) Yes, I have my photos ready for my other blog, I hate waiting for them to up load - for some reason it still seems to take forever - even with this computer and the HS internet .... grrr, I am soo badd at being patient ! I promise, I will TRY to get them up this week ! I worried all weekend about the fact that I had said I would, and didn't. I am so sorry !!! I do promise to find time to do it !!

8) I finally have measured the windows that I didn't have curtains or drapes on and will have them all up by the time next week is over. Since the neighbors since told us they look in on us, it has become a priority !!!! yea !!! I did manage to hang up some black garbage bags for the mean time - sure - they look absolutely rediculous, but it does the job. The neighbors have been driving by really slowly - I am thinking hoping to peek - but then get mad cause they can't. ERRRR, I really dislike these people ... I also hung a huge homemade sign up out the door that says our last name on it .... so to me it says " this is THE EWERT'S house ..... NOT the SULLIVAN'S" .... lol .... gosh, if they wanted the house and didn't want things changed WHY did they sell it. ?! Get over it people !!!! You don't own it anymore, WE do !!!!

9) My garage is a pigsty once again ... and there seems to be more things to do now then when we started all the little projects that we have going. I can't seem to just do one thing and bounce around alot, grrrr, I think I am getting over whelmed with so much to do and so little time. I essentially would like to have them all done before the baby comes home, but realistically I do not think that is possible. Oh, if only the hubby could get a week off - so much could get done. I swear, it seems like we are always having to go somewhere or do something else .... during the week we work on it a little every evening , but it just seems to be getting worse ! ARRRRGH ! Why must the garage be the dumping grounds though .... oh, yay - another thing to clean !!!

10) Well, it is now almost 1pm and I am not getting anything done, but this blog ... so errrr, I am off to go do something. I have to do laundry, make lunch, cut some carpet, scrape the wall so it can be painted and make up my mind about the other paint .... see what I mean about no time to do it all ..... grrrrr, I need more time in my day ! :O) Hope that you all have a great Monday - I will be busy here, but will be back to blog sometime this week ! :O)
