Seventeen !

Well, I haven't felt to swell today, but one good thing is that a fave show of mine is on tonight. A new show on the Duggar Family. Yep, a nice Christian family with -oh - 17 children ! The Discovery Health channel will aire it tonight at 8pm. Why do I like this show you ask ? Well, simple, it is about a nice christian family whose children are well behaved, are homeschooled and believe in alot of what I believe in. It is so nice in this day and age to see such a positive family and all the nice things about them. There are not alot of shows on the TV that I watch anymore ... most of the programs on today are full of violence and negativity. So many women go around demeaning themselves half dressed and acting dumb to impress people. I find it hard anymore to sit through most shows unless it DON'T have them things in it. I really don't know why people are so consumed with so many things on today that are full of the other things, but I for one am not. Now, please don't get me wrong, It is just my opinion. I am not saying that if you enjoy certain things to go give them up - but it was a choice that I personally had to make and that we made as a family. In doing so it has bettered us and drawn us closer together as a family.

It is just my opinion that a family unit need to be just that anymore - a family. Not being seperate all stuck in different rooms watching different Tv's doing all different things at different times. No one "does" the together thing anymore and that is a sad thing. Then years down the road, all you hear is " oh, I wish I would have done this different" .... just like my parents, so all i am saying is that maybe sometime someone should think about it just a little. Oh well, I didn't come here to lecture about the way we do things or to try to preach - please don't take it that way.

As for today, I felt pretty much like doody, my head felt fuzzy and my throat hurt alot .... gotta love fall and school for that, I am always the one to catch something here !!! But oh well ..... That is life, you take it as it comes. Right now, my hubby is finally working on putting the new toilet into our new bathroom (Yay, no more running all the way down stairs in the middle of the night!) and the kids are getting ready to watch the show, I thought I would make some quick burritos for dinner as our power was out for a bit due to a weird storm that came through the area. Looks like it is about over now so I guess I will go do that. Tommorrow I have my oh so lovely appointment at the MAYO Clinic again to get my first IVIG treatment at the infusion center - that should be interesting ! They told me that it should make me feel splendid and boost my immune system, so that should be nice !!! I will be glad for that atleast ! I will take my computer here along so that I don't go insane for the five hours of my sitting there. .... so blog away blogeritos, so that I have something to read !!! I am so sure it will be nice to have some alone time, even though the kids aren't to hyped about going with - but like they were gonna stay here when we are 100+ miles away - yea right !!!! Not gonna happen in this era !!!

Well that is is for tonight, I am gonna go make the dinner and sit to watch my show. I guess when we are done looks like my hubby and I get to tile the floor ! Something new, but I will be sooo glad to have it done. I promise to have pictures soon ! Maybe even tommorrow when I am going to be so immensely bored ! Hey, good idea, I will take pictures tonight and load them tommorrow !!!! So, see you all then !!! TA, TA for now !!!! :O)
