Well, I don't normally blog on Sunday's, but this weekend has been so busy that I just wanted to take a sec to share with everyone what a GREAT job that our daughter Brittany did at her Ballet/tap recital !
I would love to be able to share tons of pictures for all to see of the recital, but the studio's teacher does not allow any photo's to be taken other than her own ...which of course you have to purchase from her. Well, my husband thinks that this studio teacher is quite a bit odd, she is the only one in town to drive a BMW, she is really kinda snooty and all her fave "studio kids" (as she calls them) are only the rich kids or major butt kissers of the town.(which btw were the only ones to recieve awards for thier efforts in dance for the year.) I am sure that if anyone asked Adam what he really thought, he'd go on and on for an hour or more ..... but then again after Brittany spending 3/4th of her dance years (since age 3) with Miss Pat in Lowell, Indiana - and her being SUCH a greatly, awesome & wonderful teacher as well as friend to us, it is really, really, really hard to even come close to that again ! WOW ... we all sooooo really miss her !
Well, anyway this blog was supposed to be about our daughter, not her "teacher". LOL, so I just wanted to say that after her 10th year in Ballet and Tap that she has once again amazed her father and I. Every year she gets better and better; and even more beautiful ... I guess that it is my natural job to boast a little ... I have to ... that is what I am a Mom for ! :o)
Brittany hopes someday to do dance professionally at some level, and if she keeps working so hard we know she can do it ! Great job Britt ! Since the age of 2 when we first took you to see the NYC Ballet, you knew what you wanted to do, and you have never given up ...we are so very, very proud of you and we love you !
Well, sorry to cut short, but that's all for tonight folks ...I am totally bushed ! I will write more about this weekend - which seems soooo loooong - tommorrow or Tuesday if I have the time. Take Care and have a great Memorial Day everyone!
LV, TAMMIE
