SHADES OF SUMMER ...

Hi Guys, I am back this evening with some more pictures. I got them to work in my blog now, but still can't seem to get the album to work. Oh well, no biggie, Whatever .. that just makes it easier to do a picture blog.

First pic is of Cameron jumping on the trampoline that we have. I thought it was such a nice smiley pic that I wanted to share it.

Next few are some of my flowers this year, I got a few close ups of my faves.

Now we got the veggies we have been growing. Zuccinni, Cucumbers and Green Peppers. We've already had some tasty stuffed peppers with a few ..and a salad or two, and boy were they yummy ! My kids wouldn't agree too much tho, they don't like them the way I do.

You probably can't see them all, but in our garden we have Tomatoes, Lettuce, Onions, Rhubarb, Cucumbers, Zuccinni, Carrots, Peppers, Cantaloupe, Watermelons and Pumpkins !

These next two are pictures of the house (& garage) we are in now, but from last year when we moved in. We re-roofed and tore down all the bushes, trees and lillies that were here. I cannot believe it has been a year already On August 16th. That would have been my due date for Wyatt too - what a strange coincidence.

 And pics of the house from this year below. We planted a flowering tree up front; in memory of Wyatt and added 2 window boxes to the sides. We also painted the garage to match the house, put up a fence and landscaped. I have had so many folks drop by to tell me how nice that it looks now. I just wanted to show ya'll what we have been busy doing this summer.

The front porch area is bad off and falling tho, so our next project is to jack it up and re-fix it all nice, fresh paint and finish the landscaping in the front. All the rest is done even tho I don't think you can see it all to well. :O(  We also plan to paint the bottom brick as well.

Top pic, is our house from the back more. The bottom pic is the side yard, fence, landscaped area and the sign on the fence says,

"Forget the Dog .... Beware of the kids" ! ... HAHAHA !

I had found that seat chair thing in the trash a few houses down. We fixed it up and painted it to match the window boxes and doors and it sits so nicely here now.

This is the back porch - it  was falling too. We fixed it, by jacking it up and securing it. Next we plan to build a deck/ porch to come out the door and to the garage, finish re-painting it and add some lattice at the bottom as well as some pavers for landscaping. Some of that might have to be done next year tho. This year has already gone by so super fast !

Well, that is it. Atleast for now. I will add more when I get more, but wanted to show the progress so far. It is so hard to believe it is August already ... as soon as October up here we've gotten snow before - ohhh, I sure don't want to think about that  !

So with that thought I am going out the door to enjoy the rest of summer !
