1) Today is just one of those "off" days. Jordan woke and went to school and I noticed Adam still lying in bed when I was awoken, so I shouted at him to get up, that he was going to be late and he then told me he was off today. Grrrr. Thus the REASON I have been "off " today.
2) My schedule got all wonky the second things got into action this morning. He wakes up and goes upstairs and I tell him I want to go rent Benjamin Button (cuz it came out today) so then we all have to fly to the van .. not an easy task by any means with Miss Hannah still hurt.
3)This is when I realize the Mr. is in a grouchy mood. Greeeeeat.
4) So we came home after that, made lunch, and watched Benjamin Button. It was a peculiar movie... is there another way to describe it ?! .. I dunno. Odd ? Hmmmm. I don't like Brad Pitt AT ALL, but chose to watch anyway. It was OK .. I guess.
5) Mr. fell asleep after the movie - which also seemed to drag on forever and I am here typing, checking blogs, emails and grading the girls papers for the day.
6) I heard from my niece; Amber today though that she just lost her baby. I only found out she, and my other niece Misty; were pregnant last week. Anyway, Amber and I are usually the only ones in the family that talk - she is my sisters girl, but ya'll know I don't talk to my sister. I wish we could have been closer though, I always tried, but it never happened. Oh well - no use crying over spilt milk, it is her loss.
7) I need to mow the lawn. That seems weird to me, cuz there is just in the last few days buds on the trees that you can actually see. The grass is so long already though, If I leave it any longer my yard will look all jungle like and gross. HEhehehe.. and we so hate that ! Oh well, It will have to wait till Thursday anyway, I am outta gas and ain't got money for more till tommorrow - when they "say" it might rain again. :O(
8) I got a sliver of glass stuck in my finger yesterday while sweeping up the garage. Like a splinter sized shape or something, cuz I can't see it well. it hurts like a hammer hit it and has made my finger all swollen ! Stupid dummy I am for using my hand to help sweep it up !!! Duhhh !
9) Well, I can't think of much more to say - so I am gonna scee-daddle on outta here !

I didn't see Benjamin Button. Just not my kind of movie. But I do love Brad Pitt.

I haven't seen Benjamin Button yet, but I probably will eventually. I'm not really a Brad Pitt fan, but the premise of the movie is intriguing.

We've mowed probably half a dozen times already! It just is growing like crazy!
Ouch I hope that finger feels better soon! We just bought Benjamin Button today and will try to watch it in the next few days. We do not seem to have too much time lately to do much or by the time we do have time I am too exhausted to even put the movie in. Hope tomorrow is a better day! HUGS

Thought I'd never get it out! Broke a glass..and well ya know how you keep finding little pieces of glass for days! Hope your hand feels better soon. ReplyDeleteOH I am so sorry about your finger and I hope it's feeling better! Oh I hate it when Mr is in a grumpy mood! Mine was yesterday and it wasn't fun at all!! Oh I haven't seen Benjamn Button but have it on order through Netflix. I don't like Brad much myself!!! We need to mow also but our mower isn't working and I can't afford to buy a new one! Ugh!! Hope your doing good! How was your Mother's day??? Miss ya!!
