SO MUCH TO SAY, SO LITTLE TIME ...

It was a crazy weekend. So Monday is seeming to follow suit. That is why I will have to make this as quick as possible.

My meeting at Jordan's school went fine Friday. He has a number of options to think about and will make his mind up soon he says.

Saturday was our towns big yard sale days... so we went a "Junkin'"... when I was little I had a friend named Holly that called it that, and it has stuck ever since. Anyway - the sales were just that though, all junk. I only ended up spending 9 dollars. For me going to over 20 yard sales that is good. We found a really neat bible tin for Hannah that contains all kinds of bible stories, puzzles and cards. She was so exstatic to get that. That cost 8 dollars, the other dollar was spend on two little bowls that I could use for the cat. Ya, not much of a selection as far as anything I could use much, but it was a nice day to get out of the house.

Saturday night after the race was over, Hannah took a spill upstairs. That ended us up in the emergency room late at night. The girls had been running upstairs and Hannah tripped, not two minutes earlier I had told them to settle down ... ends up that Hannah ripped/tore some of the ligaments off of her right foot/ankle area. Her GOOD foot. So the poor thing is scooting around on her butt today with her foot all swollen. She can't use the crutches because of her left foot. I have to take her back to the doc in a few days.

Sunday we spent most of the day doing things around the house. Cleaning and sorting getting things in order, etc. Spent alot of time cleaning out Hannah's room and the girls decided they want to do a yard sale soon as well. Then wouldn't you know it, at 5 am, kids are sick ... AGAIN. I swear to Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, I should never clean again - every time I do, someone is getting sick. LOL. Anyway I was up at 5 early this morning with Gracie who was the culprit of the puking and rocked her back to sleep, I then took out the trash and was gonna go to the store when I discovered the hubby left the headlights on the van on and killed my battery. SIGH. So it was a good thing he hadn't left yet for work and he gave me a jump to start the van. He said he was sorry because he is so used to his van's lights just turning off automatically.

So today is Monday, I have a homeschooling meeting tonight at 6 and the girls are sitting quietly working on some papers right now. In a few minutes I have to go to the storage locker and drop off the things we collected for our yard sale, then to the store and get the things I meant to earlier, then back to do some laundry. I don't have time now to catch up on all ya'll's weekend blogs - but I will be back tonight to do that. Figures, I thought I would take a break - usually ya'll haven't been blogging on the weekend, and this time I was wrong. LOL. Well, that is the way it goes sometimes. :O)

So the weather channel says this is the only nice day we are going to have all week, so I had better go and enjoy it. Hope ya'll have a good day ! HUGS !!!! :O)

  3. Tell your husband about a little accessory buzzer you can hook up to the light wiring. It buzzes if you leave the lights on when you open the door. They sell them at auto part stores. We've had to install them on a couple vehicles and they do work. LOL
Ow for Hannah. I hope she heals quickly (and quits running in the house - lol) oh to be young again. Poor Gracie. I hope she feels better soon too.

  7. I've got so much cleaning to do myself, but the weather has been so nice, I don't want to be indoors, especially after our long, cold winter. I'm waiting for rain before I start cleaning again. :)
