Ahhhhhhhhhhh, Thursday ! What a lovely day !
1) Cold. That is all I am going to say about that !
2) It was so cute - I have to share this. I was awoken by a huge "thump" this morning on the floor. It was about 6 am, I think. Then I hear Gracie start to whine - ( I am supposing that she fell to the floor off of Hannah's bed, as she is still wanting to sleep there and no where else) and so I decided to wait a second before I went up .. then I heard it. Hannah picked her up lied her back down and sang her back to sleep. Talk about melting my heart.
3) So while I may not be perfect, somethings I do just might be somewhere near.
4) I looked at a few places online last night before AI to see where the nicest place in the US was ... it came up as Nashville, Tennessee. Sounds good to me. Down South, a bit warmer and far from here. I mentioned it to Adam.
5) I have actually heard of it done before that people sell everything they own to move and change thier situation... I am thinking 65 days till spring, I might have a huge yard sale the first warm day and load a truck up with what is left. Either put it in storage or get rid of alot of it. Seriously it is JUST things, and while I have a few things that are special, that isn't the majority. I am so ready for this. All I have to do is beleive.
6) No matter what you think about me, everyone has a place and a purpose on this earth.
7) So did anyone watch AI last night ? Did you have a fave ? Hmmm, the last two nights, I like a few .. "Barracuda girl", blind guy, and the guy last night whose wife had passed on (wish I could remember thier names) ... there are a few others, and I did like that one girl with the pink hat that wrote her own songs - they didn't let through - - she had a wonderful attitude. I think this year is interesting already - but I don't know if I like having the new judge all that well yet. It isn't that I dislike her - I just don't see how say - two votes and two votes equal you're going or staying. It seems like it would have to be a majority kind of thing. Who has the final real say ? Hmmmm.
8) Britt just said she was going to make lunch for us all, how nice. They are home today and tommorrow because of the cold.
9) She is having some issues at school with the so called, "popular group , club, clique" ... whatever you call it... Maybe I will describe it in a later blog ... I just feel that right now, it wouldn't be wise.
10) I have some things to say otherwise, but for now I am going to keep quiet as well. "Watch, stand still, in faith. Be Brave, Be strong - Let everything you do - be done with love".
1 CORINTHIANS 16:13 -14
So Britt has lunch done - I'll be around ! I hope that you all have a very wonderful and joyus day ahead ! HUGS !
TAMMIE
I would love to sell everything, buy a camper + travel full time. Enjoy your lunch. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteAww that was sweet that she sang her to sleep. Enjoy your lunch and stay warm!
ReplyDelete1. It's really cold here too and it's suppose to be colder tomorrow:-(
ReplyDelete2. Awww..how precious!
3. You know it!
4. I've always wanted visit Nashville..maybe one day!
5. I've thought about doing this before but I don't want to disrupt my kid's life too much. My youngest will be going to college in 4 and half years so hopefully we can stay put until then.
6. I agree! And I happen to think you are an awesome person!
7. You know I love AI!! Isn't Simon being nicer? He must of said, "I like you" about 10 times last night!
8. That is so nice of Britt!
9. That's awful! Have you thought about calling the school?
10. Love the quote you ended with!
You ARE serious about this move arent ya?? Good luck..it could be your next adventure...you can make it happen if you really want it! :)
ReplyDeleteNice of you to have your lunch made for ya :) how sweet!
I did watch and I also liked the guy who lost his wife. I think his voice is awesome!
1 and 6...how cute!!
ReplyDeleteHUH ?.. I am thinking you mean #2 ?
ReplyDeleteSnow isn't all that cute. :O)
I hear Nashville is beautiful. We were supposed to relocate to Ft Campbell before our orders suddenly changed for Ft Carson. We were going to live in Northern Tennessee, we were planning a trip out there to find a house. My cousin lived out there for a while like 9th & 10th grade then she moved back to NC. She loved it out there. It's warmer than where you are that's for sure. They get like tornados and stuff but not an abundance of snow like what you're used to. I wish you luck in whatever ya'll decide to do. A change of location might also change your luck.
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY !
ReplyDeleteThe majority of people "up here" are cracked !
I think a huge yard sale would be a great thing for ya'll to do.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I mean, you can begin putting stuff aside now and maybe pricing stuff too.
*hugs* Hey, that was nice of Britt to make lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to bible study at PWOC and this lady got up and spoke and started reading out of Esphesians and said ti read chapter's 1-13 every day for 40 day's and see what God has for you! Im gonna try it............and if yall move to Nastyville,TN you will be that much closer to ME!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMatt just told me something that I completely forgot. Tell Adam to go to USAJOBS.com. They give preference to veterans, and it's all government jobs. He could get a job doing basically exactly what he was doing in the military, but without the rank and file of the military. DEFINITELY worth a look-see!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited that you guys are going to make the move. I think it'll be great for all of you to make a fresh start somewhere.
I am going to go look it up, now I am curious. I will have to see what that is about myself.
ReplyDeleteNastyville huh ? LOL. at first I thought that was a typo. :O) Ha,ha,ha ....
OK... I am telling him right NOW,, he just walked in ! Thank You !
ReplyDeleteand Yes, my feelings exactly !!!!
I used to watch AI, but it got old for me. I can't stand watching 98402983409 people who can't sing insist that they can and that the judges don't know anything. Maybe I can watch it once they narrow it down to 20, but last year I was so annoyed by all the tryouts that I never even bothered.
