I live on the corner - at an intersection one street away from the main road in our town. Normally - since my living here, a car is going by every 5 - 10 minutes ... tonight, there has been MAYBE one about every hour ! It is almost like living back at my old house in the middle of no where again. :O) Delightful !
School has already been cancelled for the rest of the week ...
I do believe this IS the coldest it has ever been in MY living up here ... So, um, yea, this whole "cold" thing ... it has been great and all, but yeeeeeea, it is time to part ways !
As I was up just now looking for a new BG for my computer screen to replace the holiday one I had on there - - - the Caribbean is a lovely place this time of year ! Soooo, as it is late - I am off to bed to dream of it ! Good Night all, be back in the morrow ! :O)
STAY WARM !
TAMMIE
My mom lives in La Crosse. I grew up there. I really do wonder why people continue to live in the midwest! I would miss winter, but the winter I would miss is the one where there is snow and it is at least 30*. This crap sucks! School is canceled here today, because our wind chills are supposed to be around -35* too. Here's hoping you don't reach -50*!
ReplyDeleteDamn girl, when did you say your moving to FL? Eff that cold sh*t up there!!! lol
ReplyDeleteStay warm!!!
Ummmm, I say NOW would seem to be a very good time !
ReplyDeleteHA ! You got me ! That is why it is my GOAL to get the flying fig outta here ! I hate winter all together !!!
ReplyDeleteafter 0, I don't think I can tell the difference! LOL today isn't even the coldest it's going to be here. That'll be tomorrow.
ReplyDeletethere's only a 2 hour delay today, though. (which is fine with me, I've got the day off today, and it'll be nice to be around the house a while without the kids! hehe)
Brrrrr!!! Stay inside
ReplyDeleteIt is -7 degrees here and the windchill is -20. School wasn't closed, but they only have a half day anyway. Thank God M works nights so the car is already warmed up when I head out the door. I took the dog out this morning and I could feel my nose hairs freeze. Now that's cold!
ReplyDeleteOH it's so cold! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr I am so ready for Spring! You can feel the cold the minute you walk out into it! Brrrrrrrrrrr a few schools were closed around here but nothing to close to us. A few 2 hour delays but it's so darn cold! Oh I am with Sue my Nose hairs were doing the same thing! LOL Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhen that happens you know it's way too cold! I was out there like 2 minutes before that started happening!
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love to feel warm sand between my toes right now. Instead, my feet are covered in layers of socks and slippers! Thankfully we don't normally have winters like this. Stay warm inside if you can. Unfortunately, I have to try and make it to work. My boss is keeping the pool open. :(
ReplyDeleteOh brrrrrrr...not envying you now!!!!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the warm front we are having now heads your way to defrost you all!
