BITTY BABY's ~ UltraSound !

So today was my Ultrasound.

I left the house at 11 because I had to walk there and got there at 11:30 sharp. Good thing I live in town now and that it was about 32 Degrees out, I can "do" 30's ! So no complaints. I had Jordan stay home from school for a few hours to watch Cameron and Gracie though, so that was a big help. :O)

So I get there and the technician is nice and suprised that my bladder is so full. She says usually no one listens. Let me tell you though, the walk there was horrid - the "I have to go pee, I have to go pee" song kept playing in my head. I purposely made myself hold it as long as I ever have so she could get some good shots. I do think though that the whole "pee" thing is the worst aspect of getting an ultrsound. I hate that feeling of I gotta pee !

So anyway ... she took the measurements she needed and said baby looked fine - right at 10 weeks and 3 days. She also said that if the baby was this active already at 10 weeks, I was going to have my hands full ! Suprise, suprise ! With Cam and Gracie, this does not suprise me. Then she took pictures (or whatever you call it) of all around and of my tubes and ovaries. She made some quite perplexing faces when she did those, so being that I wanna know everything, that had me worried. The hypochondriac in me says uh oh. :O(

The lights were dim the little bed was comfy, I could have fallen asleep ! She said that she had to send the shots to radiology and then to the doctor to veiw. When they were done he would most likely contact me.

So here are the shots - Sorry they are a picture of the picture, so I hope that you can see them well enough. My HP scanner (even though only a year old)  will not work with the Vista program on my computer, so I couldn't scan them ! Next Ultrasounds given - here - are at 20 weeks. There will be alot of changes going on between now and then !

So the top picture is a frontal veiw, feet/legs and hands/arms are pointing at/toward you - the head is to the right, still has the sort of tail bud thingy, (pointy thing at bottom) but that will dissapate of course. OMG ! It is a human ! LOL !

Bottom picture has baby's head at left and on it's side. Feet/legs are up in the back. This isn't the best picture.

So the rest of my day has been quiet and calm. I took a nap already and when Adam comes home I will probably do some laundry and he said he wanted to go out for dinner. Gosh knows there ain't been much on the TV for days, so I can stand to get out, yet ... I don't know - we'll see, but I am already hungry ! :O) LOL !

Well, Hope that you all had a good day ! Thank You for stopping by !!!

TAMMIE :o)

  3. Oh how exciting. It's so cool to see the ultrasound although sometimes I don't have a clue at what I'm looking at. Just knowing it's a baby developing is enough to make me say, awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, though. lol
Glad it all was good so far. Please let us know when the doctor gives you the full report. Until then I'll pray that it's all good. HUGS!!!
Have you been thinking of any names yet?

  4. Oh, yep. We have had the boy name picked out about 4 years now (was going to be Gracie's name if she would have been a boy.) It'sWyatt - after Wyatt Earp.

As for girls names .. I have no clue. I kinda like Emelia .. it is feminine and pretty. But no idea. I like older names, nothing common.

  11. My great grandmothers name was Amelia spelt with an A. I like it, it's different and something you don't hear often anymore.

  12. Check the HP website and see if they have software so that your scanner will work with Vista. Usually they are pretty good with posting updates and software upgrades.

Awww, look at the little peanut. She'll be here before you know it!

  14. Glad the appointment well and yeah on the weather not being to cold!! Sorry you did have to walk though!! I love ultrasound pictures!! Thanks for sharing them! I hated the not being able to pee. One time I drank to much and she wanted me to go just a little! JUST A LITTLE??? If I go in there it's all coming out! LOL I hope the face she made wasn't for anything serious. I know people can sometimes make faces and not even know it. Let us know though. I hope you'll enjoy your dinner out if you do go!! Hugs to you!!
