LITTLE HUMAN UPDATE COMIN' AT CHA !
I am making myself sit and do this right now because I keep forgetting to do it ! While it was on my mind, I wanted to get it done.
Nothing big is happening here so far as the pregnancy goes. I am tired alot - which in turn makes me want to take a nightly nap - right about 6pm is when I get so sleepy, I have to rest my head for a bit of time. I am always hungry and things taste better, but as of today with my check up, I have lost weight. Par for the course for me though.
I still have had some of the spotty - semi bloody mess going on, no more cramps though, so that is good. Dr S is concerned about it, but more so that he can't figure out what is causing this to happen for me. Ultrasound tommorrow might answer this question.
Other than that, I do not feel all that pregnant. So different then my other pregnancies. No sore and tender boobs, no nausea, no heartburn or indigestion. No constant trips to the bathroom. I just am tired alot, hungry more and get mood swings from time to time. Weird.
Well they say every child is different and that is so, even from the womb - I totally believe that to be true. I have guessed every childs sex - except Jordan (he was my first) based on the fact that they were so different - yet similar to my other pregnancies. I have NEVER been wrong. So boys, I always had heartburn, nausea and indigestion and am very tired - girls, I did not. Girls I crave food more yet am not tired, but very energetic. So many tell tale signs, yet with this pregnancy, I have so little. Hmmmmmm. Now I wonder what this means ! Usually by now I can guess. Maybe one of each ? so both signs are mixing ? GAK.. shut up ! Scratch that ! But seriously.. what the hec ?! LOL.
Other than that I get an occassional migraine and times where I can't sleep. Then again - that is always how I am ! HA HA ! I haven't bought any maternity things yet, but I thought about it and looked at some ads of cute things. Can't afford to buy alot of that right now, so Adam's big shirts will have to do. Not pretty, but it works. My other things still fit, so it isn't necessary at this moment anyway. So that is it about me, if you want to, you can read below to see what is happening with the baby :O)

The Baby
By the end of Week 10, your baby graduates from embryo to fetus, which literally means "little one." It also translates to "I'm just going to keep getting bigger and bigger and so are you!"
Your baby has finally morphed from a little tadpole into, well, a baby. Not only is the face more human-like, but that unflattering "tail" (really just the developing spinal cord) has disappeared, fusing into the spinal column.
Your baby now has discernible fingers and toes, which will explain the steady stream of kicks and punches you'll feel down the line.
Junior's skeleton is starting to grow and harden. The ears are beginning to take shape and the eyelids are no longer transparent. Tooth buds are forming, although your baby won't get any teeth until after six months after birth.
Baby's brain will make an incredible 25,000 new neurons every minute this week. While you may feel like you're losing as many as he's gaining, we can assure you it's not permanent. "Pregnancy brain," like nausea and bloating, is temporary and soon shall pass. (And then you'll get "Mommy brain," but we won't go there now.)
If you're baby is a boy, he's started producing that macho hormone testosterone. And whether your baby is a boy or a girl, the kidneys are creating copious amounts of urine. Lucky for you, you won't have to change a diaper for another 30 weeks.
Baby weighs 4 grams and measures 1½ inches, about the size of a Mondo Brazil nut.
Well, yeah...that's what I've heard for years, that every pregnancy is different. I do hope all goes well with your ultra sound Tammie!!! Those are always so exciting.
ReplyDeleteSo the baby is about the size of a Mondo Brazil Nut??? Ahahhahaa!!!! How cute!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's really neat! :-D
Take care of yourself Tammie! Well shucks, if you get tired and are needing a nap at any time of the day, I do hope you can lay down for one.
I hope you have a nice day! It's only 06:51 a.m. now on Thursday morning here in Germany.....*yawn* I need more coffeeeeeee!!!!!
So the little bean is now a nut? COOLZ! LOL
ReplyDeleteI always had great pregnancies, so I loved being pregnant. I couldn't wait to show enough to wear maternity clothes, and every part of the pregnancy was fascinating.
I hope the bleeding stops for you and you can enjoy the anticipation of your little one!
Other than the spotting it sounds like you are doing really good with this pregnancy! I was really tired during the first part of my pregnancies also. Hopefully your energy level will pick up the farther you go. Good luck with your ultra sound!
