Seems like ya'll aren't around so much today ..is there some partay I don't know about ?! lol.
I have been so bored today. I DID try the whole no TV thing for a bit, but it was so quiet and lonely seeming. I hate when it is so quiet in the house sometimes, especially during the daytime.
It was a tad warmer out today - but I wasn't out too long, I had to run to town and was only out for a short time.
*SIGH* ....
A Good thing though is that it is supposed to be almost 70 here on Friday (Halloween) ..... we haven't had a warm Halloween ever since I have lived up here, so I certainly hope they are right ! That will be awesome ! The kids will be so excited to hear they don't have to bury themselves in thier costumes with coats and mittens !
Bad thing tho, I don't think we will be doing our annual Halloween dinner ... the kids are REALLY disappointed too, as am I. :O( but I can't help it .. we are out of money till payday and are about out of food, we just don't make as much with everything having gone up, it hurts. Good thing I have some bread and PB and J around. Won't have enough milk tho.
Another bad point, I lost my drivers licencse ..so yeaaaaaaa, um that eliminates the pawn shop for getting us some "dough" .... this sucks. No one really cares though, so whatever. I know peeps wanna just tell me to budget right, but bills have to be paid, then food and gas ... then payday money is gone ... just like that. We no longer have a savings, so that isn't even an option.
Britt went to church tonight, I actually didn't feel like going after all. I am in a mood ... maybe PMS or something. I dunno. I have folded the same blanket 94 times and shut the same door 50 .. shoes keep finding them selves in the middle of the doorway and dinner is yet to be cooked. UGH.
I have been looking ALL DAY it seems online for what the corresponding day for the Psalms are .. you know it is said that there is one for everyday ... I would like to read it, but can't find what schedule to follow ... does ANYONE know ???
And why is it I have to keep washing what seems to be the SAME laundry over and over ?
I am getting tired - oooh really tired of having no hot water, BTW ... It absolutely sucks to shower in the cold as frozen ice water ... I think I will get hypothermia ... so, sorry if it is gross, but for like the first time ever, I haven't been showering every day. Funny thing tho - maybe if I don't shower, I will already be scary enough for Halloween ... no costume needed ! ta ha ha !
I feel like all I am doing is B*^%$#*( ... I am sorry. :O(
UGH... SO what is good today ...hmmm, lets see ..... ummm, ummmm - it was warmer. The kids both took a nap this afternoon, the Duggars are on later and I made cookies and actually didn't burn them. HA HA.
Oh well, they say, not everyday is good, but there are a few good things in Everyday ...

What do you usually do for halloween dinner...you mean like go out to eat every Halloween before Trick or Treating...i dont remember (sorry)

I know today alone I have washed 3 loads...it never ends. I think sometimes they must put some of the clothes right back in the basket instead of putting them away! I SO know what you mean! grr!
Yay on not burning those cookies! I have been wanting to make some and just havent done it...all i have one hand is stuff for oatmeal and chocolate chips. We are roasting pumpkin seeds right now. I am trying a slooooower method. They have been in the oven for like 2 hours at 175 with a little olive oil and salt. I cannot wait to taste them...

It IS supposed to be nice and warm for Halloween. I don't remember a 'warm' Halloween in FOREVER. There is a high of 65 degrees and a low of 40 something. It will probably be closer to 40 something when the kids are out though:(
Sorry about your drivers license...just try to keep looking!! It's bound to show up SOMEWHERE.
I'll try to do some research on the Psalm thing but I've never heard of it before.
HEY.... I think that is STILL warmer than previous years !

I make Mickey Mouse Waffles with my handy dandy waffle maker. Sure, they are whole grain, but there is nothing like loading kids up with maple syrup and then sending them out to get even more sugar! Not the smartest tradition, but Z and her friends all look forward to it.

ReplyDeleteglad it's going to be warmer for you guys this year! The last few years it's been downright cold, but I remember one year, when Trevor was just a year or two old, it was nearly 80! Poor Trevor was dressed up as a bear, or a lion or something like that, and got too hot!
Wish I could help you with the Psalms thing, but I have no idea where you would find that....
If i had to take showers in cold water, I think I'd be the stinkiest person around, because I could NOT do that. I don't care. Wouldn't do it. Nope. No way, no how..... did I mention that there is NO WAY I would take cold showers???
Oh nothing big or extravagent, just something we look forward to .. we eat big at Pizza Hut every Halloween. Right after TRTing. For some reason we did it one year and the kids never would be quiet about how much fun that was, so we've done it every year since.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Hot water, the gas company shut the gas off here ... it was in the other peoples name and they didn't pay thier bill, that was thier reason for shutting it off ... no warning, then I went to switch it to our name and because we have bad credit they won't turn it back on with out a HUUUUUGE deposit. We cannot afford what they want all at one time, and they won't take payments ... so we go without, again.

ReplyDeleteBrrrrr I don't know how you can take cold showers. Our hot water heater went out in the wind yesterday. Couldn't wait for it to heat up all the way (it's old + takes a while) so my shower was luke warm + it was a really quick shower. lol Hope your day got better

Iw as like what crime did you comment girl??? LOL Oh I was so excited to see the weather would be nice tomorrow here too! Yeah!!! Sorry about your tradition, I know how it feels to not be able to do stuff because of money! Ugh !MONEY!!!!!!!!!! To many bills and all! We end up eating a lot of Ramen noodles when money gets low. Oh I had something on the Psalms I'll have to see if I can find it!! Not sure where it's at though!! OH the laundry and feeling like doing the same thing over and over! Yikes!! ReplyDeleteAs for the cold showers...I'd resort to boiling water and taking a long, hot bath....no cold showers for me, never, nope....wouldn't do it!!
Seems to be the consensus, ha ha ... but we have only a shower stall here ATM ... so I was thinking about going to the Holiday Inn ... they have showers in the pool changing areas, but LOrd, I feel so stupid.
