I am a cry baby. I can't help it ! HE DID IT ! Michael Phelps got 8 gold medals !
Ya'll just had to know I was watching this one !!!! I was jumping up and down and shouting just like some mad woman on crack !
I figure that I must lie my dreams that once were, upon him ... so I was bawling like a big ol' baby, and so excited about it too !
I also must mention that I am even pretty stoked that DaraTorres got silver ! WOOO HOO ! Sure Gold would have been nice - but silver is good too. Hec, for being 41 and still kickin ass ... I think that it's great !
I suuuuuuuuure wish they would show EVERY swimming competition on TV ... I would be like a cat attacking a bird, a fat man to the donut shop, a terd to the toilet .... yeeeeeeea, that would be me ! GLUED !
I wanted to write a whole nother blog tonight, but I am much too tired and sore ... Today was ONE longgggg day !
I am tore up - from the floor up !!
Lordie ... I got alot to say, but I gotta get to sleep, that is if I can stop being so excited for Phelps !

Yea... they couldn't have come at a better time ... and I have even been watching more than the swimming - which I normally don't do - other than gymnastics, but I have been watching alot. I wish it was always on !

I was more impressed with Bolt's 100 meter record setting stroll. But then I can swim barely well enough to not drown, and I was a sprinter when I attempted to be in track.

ReplyDeleteYeah Ive been watching the Olympics all weekend and didnt miss this race! It was really awesome to see Team USA Win. Phelps is just awesome! I knew he would do it! I was really impressed watching him do the 100m!

ReplyDeleteI was kind of bumbed about Torres's silver both in the individual and the relay but she has really good sportsmanship (or should I say sports-woman-ship).
I'm loving the olympics too! I can't get enough! :)

I didn't see him win this last medal and I"m pissed at myself for not staying up......he is fantastic! I find it hard to just sit and watch TV usually, but I'm gluded to the TV when the Olymics are on. I missed the gymnastics and I love to watch those,too.

ReplyDeleteI missed it, as I've not really been watching the Olympics this time around, but I am happy that she placed, I was worried with her age and all. I watched a special that she was on on ESPN, she was working out and talking about going back to the Olympics... Good for her!
