Wow ... Happy Saturday my B-E-A utiful friends! Another weekend is upon us and since it is so humid around these parts again, I thought I would enlighten you with some of my jibber jabber ...
As some of you may know I am pretty good at having dreams. I have dreams - nightmares and just general odd thoughts while I sleep. I have always had them - so today I thought I would share with you how I woke up and what I remebered from last nights dream.
H ha ... so it was a weekend night and I was invited to a barbeque at a neighbors. This person that invited me to thier festivities wasn't really considered a good friend of mine, but after much thought and reluctance I decided to go ahead to the barbeque get together and try to have some fun.
Well, wouldn't you know it, everyone I knew was there ... everyone from blogland too and they all knew that this person and I did not get along very well. (? Clueless on why that was a part of my dream) anyway - I had noticed that my breathing wasn't very good and I thought I was having one of my asthma attacks, so I sat down for a minute and realized I was actually having a panic attack. Yea, I have had these before - mostly when I have to be around folks - so I thought about going home once again, but instead I just sat there. 5 minutes, then ten minutes passed ... I was alone so no big hurry, it was just me .. and no one would ever even notice if I even went.
Finally after 20 minutes or so with wrestling with the thoughts in my head about going, I decided that I would just pop over and say a quick "HELLO" then I would leave.
Well, wouldn't you know it ... I ended up staying and having a really great time. I ended up being one of the very last people to leave and helped to clean up too. The family of this person that I had not gotten along with, treated me as I had always wished MY OWN family would have and like I was one of thier own, We had such a good time and did Karaoke and everyone fell in LUV with how I sang and told me I should sing forever and be a star. We had such a good time eating and just haging out and I woke up feeling like I really had been to this BBQ and that I actually had - had a good time . LOL !
Well ... truth is .. it is sooo far from me, that - that is maybe why I liked it. I dunno. I was invited to a BBQ a few weekends ago, but just sat there and ended up leaving. I did wrestle with the thoughts in my head about going and I DO hate being around others because I do feel so very uncomfortable. As some of you may know - my dream WAS always to sing and that everyone would just LUV me ... but I know I would totally just vomit all over everyone.
I guess I am just saying that this dream was just so odd for me to have .. I have no idea where these thoughts even come from. LOL !
Anyway .. here is a great song I will leave you with today. As much as music is a part of my life, I have realized that I can't keep it quiet anymore. ENJOY !

ReplyDeleteThat's a cool dream! It means that you haven't given up on yourself, you know? Next time you get invited somewhere..remember that dream, and remember that sometimes you just need to take the plunge, so to speak! :)~
ReplyDeletethat is a very vivid dream..but I think it means that you need to get out and not feel so insecure with yourself and if you get invited to things, just go!! You have such a personality and so much to say on here, you need to get out and talk outloud!!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of dreams, I had one the other night where I had to babysit Miley Cyrus and her parent's gave me $700... it was kind of wierd!! I guess that means I'm always thinking of how to make more money! :)
