I have tried to leave comments on some of your pages, and some went through and others did not. I got directed to some of your July blogs and other times it wouldn't show me any blog ... so I just wanted to let you all know if you read this, I am here, thinking of you - I am not ignoring ya'll. Ok ?
As for me, I have been trying to remain pretty busy here. As usual it is always all the little teeny tiny things that take forever when you are near the end of all your "projects" ... not to mention that I still have all my regular "chores" about the house to do, but I am so glad that for now - all this stuff seems to be coming to a close.
After last week and it being so rough, we are doing much better now. Obviously there was alot going on here to begin with so it was no big deal to stop and break for a minute to think about things. The whole family had doctors appointments throughout the week and I have a cold - ick - I have done what seems like 45 loads of laundry, cleaned out my 16 year old son's room - not an easy task - and gotten alot of other little things done as well.
Has anyone ever said teenage boys are nasty ? Yea - well, ick, they are. I had a hec of a time trying to convince my son to clean his room, ya - know vaccumming it and such. I flipped his mattress, washed all of his bedding and I think I will just end up buying some new .... I cleaned out his closet totally and we got rid of some of his old toys that he don't want to save any longer. He wouldn't part with any of his many Lego sets from a few years ago or naturally any of his Nascar stuff, but I am glad that job is done. WHEW !..... OH, and I finally got the boy to vaccuum it too !!! Thank God !
I have been doing alot of odds and ends too .... the bathroom we've been working on had alot of little things to be done in order to be done. I have had to paint window trim like 90 times because I wanted it white, painted a cabinet we put in to match as well many times, hung up some little things like the towel bars and such - tonight it looks like we will finally hang up the trim around the windows and caulk around the tub. My bedroom is finally come to be cleaned as well - there is drywall dust over E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. !!!! It is such a mess ! I will have to flip the mattress and wash all the bedding as well in my room scrub the table and dresser, wipe the walls (yes the dust is there too) put the laundry away that I have not been putting away (didn't want dust to get into it - so it has been downstairs) and since we brought all the baby's stuff from the storage area I can get that all cleaned up if it needs it and get it all set up. Adam got my wall border up last night and it looks awesome, so once I get all my stuff back up on the walls, it will seem like my room again. Once I have it all set up, I promise to take pictures too - so you all can see.
It is weird though that all the little stuff seems to take so much longer than all the monsterously huge stuff ..... There is still alot to be done, but this whole construction thing has lasted about 2 years now, soooooo for it to be this far and almost to the end point, I am soooooooooooo glad !!!!!
We've finally decided to go to the MAYO Clinic and do the PUBS test next Thursday, so it does scare me a little, but I will keep you all posted about that. That is - IF - I don't go into labor before then, but I don't think that I will. Everything has been fine here and besides my being uncomfortable alot, - I know it will be over soon.
Coldness is here now, it was so chilly this morning here that the hubby had to scrape the windows that had a really thick frost on them. (making the picture above a place I sooo wanna' go !) Most of the pretty colored leaves are falling now and will be gone soon - signs of winter are showing and - yuk - I hate it. We still have had no luck with any propane companies - so we have no heat AGAIN..... although I am still holding out that I can convince someone to give us a chance. No one understands identity theft and that I will NOT use credit - no way - no how - so, once I say that and they say "oh but we have to check your credit anyway" .... it is a no go ..... dang people, it is trashed and I am 26 thousand dollars in the whole from all of it, don't you get that .... ahhhhh, but no one cares, all anyone cares about is money anymore, they don't care where you get it, just get it. It is sad, sad world out there !
Well, for now - I think that is all I have to say. My kids finally have the TEACHERS day today and tommorrow, so they are home !!!!! Yipppeeee, I love them being home, I know weird, but that is me. A four day weekend - I wish the hubby had one too !!!! :O)
