RUBBER CHICKEN !!!!

Is exactly what I have felt like - for atleast the last two days anyway - WWWWhew, but I finally have a chance to sit, so here I am blogging .... Go figure ! :O) LOL !

Anyway .... On both Saturday and Sunday we had planned to get alot done around here, but things just kept going wrong - so in the long run, not alot of things got done. Usually, for our paydays - our bank deposits our money a day early and we had hoped to go get our new tub for the bathroom, but nooooooo - of course since we planned it, that didn't happen this time. Oh well, It was gloomy out most of the weekend and we did piddle around to get a few minor things done, but not as much as we'd of liked to. Sunday the race was on - well, sorta - rain and all, but we just sorta zoned out for a bit while it was on. Usually NOT something that happens.

Monday I woke up running again, out the door - 7 am, off to pay the many bills that have been needing to be paid, and errands, etc. sooo glad that is done with. It literally took me all day to get things in order and done, we also ran to LaCrosse in the evening to go to Target to finish Cameron's birthday shopping and to Menards just so we could get things to "hopefully" finish some stuff around here and wouldn't you know it, we forgot some stuff !!! GRRRR ! Sure, we managed to get the bathtub this time, but then forgot the drain .... see - that is how it goes. So back we will go.

Tuesday it was off to Rochester .... AGAIN ..... BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, it is getting really old --- really fast ! Ok, so the MAYO clinic is some world reknown facility, but I still don't like going. Besides this IVIG thingy is NOT making me a happy camper. :O( I hate sitting still for so long and afterward it makes me feel all like doody !!! yuk !!!! Plus after seeing the doctor this time I had to get a shot of 'progesterone' which will hopefully help to keep preterm labor away from me. Then I had to take a tour of their 'so called' birthing center. NOW, you'd THINK - since it is the MAYO Clinic it would be an awesome one, but nooooooooooooooo - OMG ... People,,,,, it scared me !!!!!!!! The lady told me of how first you go to this one room, then you go to another to do pushing and stuff, then you go to an operating like room, which freaked me out being all white, sterile and dead looking - then you go to a recovery room, then you go to YET another room, BEFORE you get to your final room. WHAT is that about ???????? Odd !!!! I know I haven't been around much, but I DO have 4 other kids and I am wondering WHY I can't just stay in one room like when I had my others .... and they do this for everyone ???? EEEECH, I'm sorry - but it IS creeping me out ! Besides, do they KNOW that my labors don't even last long enough to even think about switching rooms, I mean, with Hannah's birth my labor was 15 minutes ..... um, room change ? Errrrr, you'd better rethink that one. Another thing she told me was that they don't even have an NICU at this part of "this part" of the hospital. So obvioulsy I have been misled .... with the assumption that the NICU will be needed, she told me that it is in another hospital part over two blocks away. ( yes MAYO is gi-normous folks !) and? the best part, they give free (oh my) shuttle rides to this for the mothers to go see thier babies ............. ummmmm, can I back out of this now ????? That is soooo what I am thinking, and it is soooo weird !!!! I'm sorry, but I just don't get it.

So, next week I have to go back for another IVIG (oh yeaaaaa!) see the doctor, have another ultrasound and get my blood drawn. That should be real fun ! :O) They want to test me for Lupus - another immune disorder and the doc was so excited that I was there, he said to me like 5 times how I am one of a very few and he's only seen 5 in 13 years with what I have, so it is truly an odd occurance. (Ok, dude (I thought) if you say so, but I lack the excitement I suppose.) He really wants me to come to STAY at the hospital at week 34 (2 weeks) until the time that I deliver - but I just don't think that can happen. I feel like such a guinea pig, but we only have one car, Adam HAS to go to work, besides they are already doing alot of crabbing about his absences - the kids can't be here for weeks alone ... are you kidding me? Cameron who is three on Friday, obviously has to have someone here to watch him during the day - like duh, dude - my family don't give a rats patootie, so I do it all my self, so I am just going to have to tell him that this idea, is N.O.T. going to work. Does he not understand that a 100+ mile drive isn't easy with four kids who can't keep missing school, VERY little money and a hubby that has to work ?!?!?! Hmmmm, would someone please tell him. Ahhh, anyway - so much to figure out in such a small amount of time, But it will happen. Why can't I just deliver in LaCrosse ? That would be sooo much easier.

Sooooo, Wednesday - is that today ??? SHHHEEESH ! I woke up, out the door again, Hannah had a doctors appointment for her foot again - A check up of sorts and to get a note for gym class. I scheduled Brittany's sports physical, my hubby wanted an appointment as well so I scheduled that and I scheduled flu shots for everyone too. I managed to put up our new curtains to avoid the neighbors prying - beady little eyes from veering into our personal space and put a first coat of paint on our bedroom wall - 2nd should be done tonight and I went grocery shopping at stupid Wal-Mart and Aldi's. I also FINALLLLLLY found a propane company that WILL deliver to us out here - (other than the one company that we had so many problems with last year) and I am sooooo happy that we should have heat this winter !!!!!! Last winter was the worst ever and I don't EVER want to do that EVER again ..... can I say that some more ?! Let me tell you folks, winter in Wisconsin with -25 temps and a breeze whipping through your house with no heat in it is NOOOOOO fun !!!! EWWWWWWWWWWW - how I despise winter !!!! Bad news though, a full tank of propane costs about 600 dollars, and it only lasts us about 2 months ........ not a happy thing, but I HATE being cold !

Ahhhh, so tommorrow the only thing that I have to do is call for a huge dumpster so that we can now get rid of all the old crud that is sitting about from our remodeling - stuck in the garage as usual, also compile all of the things I have collected for Goodwill once again to take this weekend. All This realllllly needs to get done before it gets too cold and hopefully before baby comes. That would make me SO very happy. Other than that, tommorrow, I will tinker with what I can around the house so that I can hopefully get to my power cleaning frenzy shortly. Something I always do before I have brought the babies home. Our new bathroom is almost done, some plumbing issues have been plaqing us, and I can't find a border that I like .... now - other than that it shouldn't be that long. I will be so glad to have a bathroom in my bedroom and not have to run downstairs to go at night. Lord knows that when you go to the bathroom 60000000 times a day (or what seems like it) any bit helps.

Well, it seems as though I have neglected the laundry for the last two days and since that cannot happen here, I must get caught up and decide on what to eat for dinner as well. So, I will be back to blogdom as soon as I can, just trying to get things done is all. I hope all is well with everyone ! :O) Friday is Cameron's third birthday, so hopefully this time I will be back to share some photos with you all then .....( my word, I keep saying that but something always happens so that I can't find the time ..... shhhhesh !!! :O)) Anyway, I am sorry I have been so busy, but I will be back !!!! p.s. To make matters more interesting here, we now have no TV ... To say which, I mean the sattelite is off. We didn't have the money to get everything done this payday, so I had to pick which thing needed to be paid less and since we don't use credit of any kind, it had to go ..... So this should prove interesting ...... I think that maybe basic may come back on as I do like to watch an occasional episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond" or " I Love Lucy" ...... but most of it won't be missed, I think the habit of it will be missed ....... OH myyyyyy, I just thought - that means no races !!!! Well, oooook - so most likely basic service WILL be back next payday - but hopefully by it being gone - we'll find time for other things. Hmmmmm, not knowing if it is all the way good or not ?!?!?!?!? Gee !
