Well, I know this isn't the moon, but here is a fave picture of mine in all the world. Taken by a NASA imager, it is called "Earthrise" . I was quite busy today with some odd's and ends around the house, but it was supposed to be up for Sunshine's Wednesday Word segment.
Now, I would like to explain WHY it is my fave picture in all the world.
Genesis - God created the heavens and the earth and looking at this photo reminds me how small and insuggnificant some things really are in life. A real fitting way to sum up the last few days here in la-la land, I guess you can say.
One of my fave times growing up was when I actually went to the Space Camp as part of a contest I'd won in Hunstville, Alabama. Learning all about science and space was the neatest things ever. Still to this day I am just totally inthralled with watching anything about it or about science for that matter. I am glad that was one experience that I had that was good.
So that is what I wanted to share ..... my fave picture in all the world. Atleast - a picture that is not of my family anyway. :O)
