Well, what do you do when you're immensely bored, it has been pouring buckets of rain outside for hours, its really quite chilly and you're too bored to do anything else ? ..... Well, duh, if you're like me - you write a blog ! :O)
So, Saturday here is pretty lame today .... we HAD intended the day to be full of things to do, but however since mother nature decided to throw a rock in that grindstone, mostly we ended up just doing a whole lotta' nothing ! The neighbor came over about 8 last night and got my hubby all fired up because he said our yard was trashy. Um, Ok I have a problem with this too - first, I am more like a New Yorker when it comes to keeping my mouth shut - I DON'T - so of course I had to add my 2 cents ! Last I checked, I USED to be in America - (I am still; aren't I ??? ) soo, to me that means : stay out of MY yard and out of MY buisness ! Now, ok, seriously ... there have been things on my driveway, which I took out of the garage (literally) TWO FRACKIN' days ago (I even wrote it in my blog) .... we are planning to get a dumpster next week, so since they stuff is virtually useless, I THOUGHT it could sit there till the dumpster comes and be out of my way so I could get other things done ! ALSO.... we live 3 miles from almost EVERYTHING ... soooo, what does it really matter, except to this neighbor. ANYWAY- he came over and brought us trash bags and told us they were going to call the cops if it wasn't cleaned up by noon today. NOw ... I am exactly the type that don't kiss ass, - they can kiss mine - but my hubby is not. I wake up at 7 this morning and where is he ? Well, in the yard ... in the rain ... cleaning up the stuff getting ready to take it to the dump. Needless to say - payback is a ***** ! Sucks to be YOU ! I know, not very christian of me, I am not very patient though, even though I need to be. Lots of prayer, people, lots of prayer !
Since then, the kids woke up, hubby came in took a shower then went to Pizza Hut and got us lunch. The kids watched a christian movie and are still lying around as I have been. My son's face still hurts pretty bad from yesterday's skateboarding incident, in which he tells me " I guess that means professional skateboarding is out - huh - Ma" ? Of course he was joking, but it was worth the laugh. He is taking plenty of Tylenol today and don't want to eat. I am guessing from the fat lip that he has, that he won't be doing that again anytime soon. But atleast it isn't as bad as it could have been !
I have some of the newer windows that still need to be caulked around and I have been putting off doing it, not too fun, but it is easy of all the jobs that are to get done around here, so I chose it. I swear, I promise to get the blog of the house up soon, I have had tons of pictures to load and want to get it all together first, but I promise to have it up probably on Tuesday, I know you all have been asking, so I am sorry for the delay.
It is pretty gloomy out - I am thinking does that mean fall is closer than I am thinking ?! Oh, I hope not, I am soooooo NOT looking forward to that at all, but never the less - there are things that need to be done and they are not getting done with me sitting here. Plenty of time for all that soon enough ... so I guess while I am thinking about it, we all need to get moving ! Hope that you all have a great Saturday !
