Ok, ok ... so it wasn't quite so bad :O) lol. ... My day here started out normal, but with not sleeping well last night, I slept in a bit late today and told Adam to come home for lunch as I planned on making something good. Well, lunch time rolled around and no Adam so I decided to not make what I had planned but to just have a snack instead, I wasn't too hungry at that moment anyway... and it isn't unusual for Adam not be home immeadiately, sometimes it's usually just whenever as it depends mostly on what his unit is doing on that particular day. So, anyway he finally trickels in at 1:30 and says that they closed Ft. McCoy and sent everyone home for the night. Well, of course I was shocked as to why, so I asked and he told me that there was a tornado spotted and severe weather reports all over. Now I litterally had NO idea ... Cameron was watching SpongeBob and I was sitting here checking on my e-mail before doing laundry. So Adam turned off SpongeBob and turned on the Weather Channel to show me ... I was stunned as it was warm and sunny here - a little humid, sure - but I would have had no idea other wise. Geeeze.
Anyway the storm was alot less than they had me thinking it would be ... they were saying baseball hail horrible damaging winds etc, ... all the stuff that goes along with tornadoes. So, Adam had me help him clear the garage so we could fit the van in and we took all of our flower baskets down that were up ... and basically all that happened was the town sirens went off at about 3 o' clock and some wind and that was it here by my house. Some places had the baseball sized hail and some wind damage, but that was just about 5 miles north of us. So naturally we did all that moving around of things in the garage for nothing. Oh well though, no worries, it's all good. :O)
My kids bus finally got home at 4:30 which had me worried, but instead of Hannah being freaked out which is what we expected, she was just happy it was the last day of school ... Britt who loves school though is alot less thrilled. Now, Jordan
who'd had a party at school today with friends, doesn't care either way. Now of course I must be weird ... but I really like my kids being at home, but that is just me. Anyways
- after all of that - the sun burst back out and brought with it more humidity ... so who knows. Atleast it wasn't as bad as it could have been ... whew !
Another day tommorrow.
Well all - I have to clean up around here and fold some laundry, so I will write more when I can. Take Care and God Bless !
TAMMIE :o)
