Teacher let the monkey's out , one went in and one went out ..... he, he, he ... do you remember that song from long ago ? Well - tommorrow is actually my kids last day of school (as most are or have been already) so since I will be busy I decided to just post today instead.
Today it rained steadily all afternoon, so there was no going outside ... sooooo - I decided to do alot of smaller things around the house and cleaned up a little too. I was going to clean out the fridge, and I got some of it done but then got sidetracked doing something else. I went upstairs to my kids area and cleaned thier bathroom and Hannah's room. Cameron's room was already clean from when I cleaned it up the other day and Brittany is a neat freak (like me :O)), so I never have to clean her room - which is very nice. I made some hard boiled eggs for the kids when they came home - don't ask me why, but it is a fave snack of thiers and cleaned out all the stuff they brought with them from thier lockers and such. I figured that if I got to it before it got upstairs this time, it would make life alot easier and I wouldn't have a mess to clean later. Needless to say of the 5 bags they all brought home, I had kept one. I really don't know why they find it necessary to keep torn up things and broken pencils or crayons. So away they went.
Still no word on Atlanta, but my husband is still hopeful about it. He told me today that he got into an arguement with someone at work because of another co worker that never comes in. I don't blame him, I would have complained too, but the military is funny about things and sometimes it is the butt kissers who get things they want over those who don't. I still can't wait to get out of here and have even begun plans with my BF Tammy to move back home to Indy if things aren't done here soon. In a way, I will be glad to see her and be home, but Indy is soooo busy anymore that I know it will soon drive me crazy. My kids are more than excited to go though, they never wanted to leave and even 3 years later I still never hear the end of it. They will be glad to see all thier old buddies - Britt is the only one who still has her best friend Kayleigh there, like I do. Brittany still talks to her once a week, which is odd for kids that age. Usually that never lasts long when one moves away, but it has this time. One thing that will stink though is that Adam's brother; Scott has now moved to Michigan, so family is getting sparse ... I think that will kinda stink without them there. Sure we both have our parents, but I don't get along with mine too well, and with his Dad having passed away last Fathers Day, I am just betting that Adam will become the one who has to do everything for her now. To those who know how she is ... that is a very tough job to hold ... and as his brother and sister in law; Linda said, a main reason they wanted to go. In a way, knowing how she is ... I don't blame them. I know ordinarilly it is horrible to think like that, but you all don't know her.
Well, I am sure I could blabber on for a while yet, but I should really go fold some laundry that I have instead of sitting here, and unfortunately I have to run to the store and get gas (ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww) soon, so I will probably be back sometime (unless I have a heart attack from getting the gas - he, he, he.) this weekend to write something. Hopefully we get some sort of respite from all this rain and I can go back outside, I hate being inside so much ! Go figure ...I live in Wisconsin ! He, he, he. Oh well ... Take Care all and have a wonderful evening !
LOve, TAMMIE :o)
p.s. I've just updated my myspace page, if you're at all interested you can take a look. :O)
