BUSY, BUSY BIRTHDAY DAY ...

Today is my little man's 5th birthday. Sheesh, I can't believe he is 5 already ! Time sure goes by fast ! Seems like he was just born !

Anyway, we don't do parties here, they usually go to focus on others rather than the child, by which I mean you essentially have to pay the kids to come anymore (we also don't know anyone up here)- gift bags and what not, so we don't do them. We are having a cake tho, a Thomas one that I had made, cuz I am SOO BAD when it comes to making them and we got him some neat new Thomas things too. Can you all tell he LOVES Thomas the Train ?!

Ironically one year before todays date 5 years ago we also got our cat Smokey Bones - so today is his birthday as well ! Hehehe, and yes, he gets a reallly special gift too, maybe a can of tuna or a new fun toy. :O) Yes, Peoples - he is prince around here ! (Pic of Bones- 6 years ago)

I had some tests scheduled for today - although recieved a call this morning to reschedule them until Friday at 1:30 - so that is why I am sitting here all clueless today. Had my day all planned and poof, ah, well it is a good one none the less so I am enjoying it ! :O)

Planning an official trip to Florida for the winter too - I think around December or January would be nice and give me something to look forward to. I know the cold drab goo that lingers here gets me down and this will help to keep my spirits up !! I am already excited !!!!

Going to the Gym will help too I think. My food week wasn't that bad actually, but I did slip once. Not bad. Worst thing is giving up the soda obviously, but I think it will happen in time ! I am doing good so far !

Got all the rest of my fall decor out last night (pix this evening over at FB) AND cleaned the garage back up finally. We packed up all yard sale left overs and will put them in the storage place tonight. I went through the remainder of Halloween things and fall stuff that we had left and got rid of most of it too. Now I will have time to sort through the Christmas things every now and then and not have to feel rushed.

Brittany went to homecoming over the weekend with our next door neighbor and her friend Shawn. They had a good time and they looked nice. The dress was a bit shorter than she/we wanted it tho, but it was all we could find on such short notice of her going. This was her first dance.

Well, I have to get the girls through the rest of thier lessons today and get some laundry done ! Hope that you all are having a wonderful day today ! I will be back with pix tonight or tommorrow !
