Hello all. I am having a bad night. Well, not actually - just couldn't sleep. So much going on in my brain and thoughts .. blahblahblah ..
Actually it is worry that keeps me up. You all know we were "trying" this month persay to see if anything would happen as far as babies go ..it certainly is no secret that we would like more, but last night I started ANOTHER - what seems to be like - period.
I am 35, and while that might not mean alot to some, it does to me. My Grandma, Aunt, Mom and Sister have all had cancer at 35. That scares me. ALOT.
I DO plan on calling the doc first thing this morning, maybe why I couldn't sleep because I keep sitting and looking at the clock waiting for 7 to get here so I can call.
Another thing I looked up thanks to Lisa P. is FIBROIDS. ~ Naturally I had never really heard of them, I thought it sounded like hemorriods to me. Yea, funny.
It actually has ALOT of symptoms I can relate to in the info, and MISCARRIAGES are one of them !!! (We lost Wyatt, January 31st.) It has me thinking that I even noticed some of the signs 5 YEARS AGO ! 5 !!!
Cameron is going to be 5.
To get rid of them totally you have to have a (gulp) hysterectomy ?!?!?!!? OMG...OMG...OMG.
I am crying. I do NOT want that, not at all, not in the least bit. NOT E.V.E.R !!! omg. I do not want someone taking my organs out of me and turning me into some old lady instantly ! I don't want cancer, I dont want to be like what I had to see my mother go through ... I know I would never make it. Omg. :O(
Everyone in my family who had a hysterectomy turned into a spaz. omg waaa. I need tissues now. omg.
I WISH 7 AM WOULD GET HERE ALREADY.
I AM GOING TO DIE.
PLEASE PRAY.
You did what I do....you went from 0-60 in .2 seconds. Slow down. You can't diagnose yourself with anything, Relax, call the doctor and go from there.
ReplyDeleteI agree, deep breath! You shouldn't ever go by what you read on the internet. No matter what you look up, usually you can relate to some of the symptoms & it will scare the crap out of ya.
ReplyDeleteThere are other reasons this could be happening. Please keep us posted. HUGS!!!
Deep breaths. Let us know what the Dr says
ReplyDeleteDon't panic. You haven't seen the doctor yet, so why worry about something that may not be there? (Big C) I have fibroids and have had several miscarriages. You don't need to have a hysterectomy unless you really are suffering with pain. My sister has fibroids as well and she's had success with a D&C. I've never suffered from mine, so I'm skipping the D&C for now.
ReplyDeleteThis could all be hormonal too. Try to focus on the positive and don't allow worrying to steal your joy.
I agree with the above posters...relax!! If we all went to WedMD every time something was wrong, we'd all get the worst possible case scenario and think we're going to die!!
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo, you don't necessarily turn into an old lady with a hysterectomy. You can have just the uterus removed and leave your ovaries (So you don't enter menopause). And you haven't even been diagnosed with anything, so don't jump ahead of yourself!
mkay, just got off phone with nurse, she says I should be seen and wil talk to the doc and call me back.
ReplyDeleteI didnt go online to look up anything but the symptoms of fibroids from Yahoo.
I just panic easy can you tell ?!
I see from facebook that you are waiting for the doc to call back with an appt time. Hope you get answers!
ReplyDeleteWell???? Did you get the appt?
ReplyDeleteNope. We can't get the health insurance , so no appt till I can. They are so stupid.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry Tammie, I had no idea you got so worried. Seriously - fibroid do not mean an instant hysterectomy. They are just something that you keep an eye on, unless you have tremendous pain, like debilitating can't function pain. I am so sorry that I inadvertently worried you. That wasn't my intent at all. You should follow up with a doctor though as soon as you get insurance or go to urgent care because of your family history alone is a good reason to see your doctor. He will be able to rule out things quickly for you.
