Hi guys ! Just a bit of a blog for now.
Today is Monday again, but I just don't feel like doing my 'normal' Monday things. I usually wash all the bedding and little rugs, then vaccuum the house and change the cat litter and stuff. I guess my weekend laziness has transferred to today. SIGH ... Maybe by the time late afternoon rolls around I will be more motivated. Good thing Adam isn't due home this evening till after 9.
Weather today is alot better ... not so hot or humid. I have the doors and windows open today and there is a nice breeze coming through. I still need to get in the yard and do some work, but since both our lawnmower and weedwacker broke that makes it kinda hard. I soo hate looking like a slob though, and it is driving me crazyyy !!! GAHHH !
So, I took the 'test' this morning. It gave me a weird reading - inconclusive, I think. So I will have to buy another one. All that is on it is the line for negative and a big streak on the lower half. It looks really bazaar, so I have no idea what that means. Ooh well. Guess that is what happens when you buy a cheap,crappy test. ....Besides that tho, still no other period signs. I have had a headache and felt like crud. Yes, all of which I am sure you wanted to know.
We made a huge helping of Zuccinni bread over the weekend. We had some HUGE zukes in our garden and it made for plenty of bread. The kids love it. We used our first Green Peppers for stuffed GP's the other day, and they were OOOOH SOOO tasty, I LUV stuffed GP's ! We also have our first Cantaloupes and Pumpkins growing now too. It is neat to watch them grow. Although, I did catch a bunny trying to get in a few evenings ago ... GRRRR !
Just a bit ago I recieved a letter from my Mom. It says she didn't have a phone number so that was why she was writing to me. (She is probably the last human on earth to still not use the internet.) The letter also said she took a leave of absence from work to be with my Grandfather full time. (Both in pic above) He is dying. So I have to wait until payday this, Thursday and plan a trip home. (South Side Chicago area.) I wish I could go now, but the bank account is lower than I would like it to be if I travel anywhere. I guess my cousin who lives in Colorado now and my Aunt from Arizona are flying in next weekend. NO ONE in my family gets along with my Aunt, she's a drug addict - and we aren't at all a close family (even though I wish we were.) ..... so this should be loads of fun ! I want to see my Grandfather though - so it's gonna have to be dealt with. He already has Alzheimers, so It can be hard enough to be around someone who, at times, don't remember you, your children or thier family. I just hope whatever happens, he can go peacfully and not be in any pain. I know he has talked about being with my Grandma for along time and when my uncle passed who was caring for him, he just totally lost all hope.
Well, I guess that is all I have to blab for this day, I should go and get some things done ... I hope you all have a wonderful day !!!

It's really hot here again today. You're lucky to have a nice breeze. I would get another test + try again. Sorry to hear about your Grandfather.

Another Chicago person, my dh grew up in Chicago and I was born there and lived there a short time before my son was born.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your grandfather,even if he doesn't remember your name he will know you are there, you can't break the bonds of loving someone.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
You should take a blood test at your doctor's office. That may be more accurate. All of my pregnancies showed a negative result on store bought tests, but the blood test was always accurate.

ReplyDeleteI know whatcha mean about those "cheap' Pregnancy Test's..I bought the cheap ones before too and always had trouble with them. I had one that didn't do anything at all!!..lol I'll admit..it pays to get the better ones. The best kind I ever used (don't get me wrong..not that I've used THAT many!..lol) was "First Responce". I would highly recommend that one.

Oh I bought the stuff the other day when we went grocery shopping to make Stuffed Bell Peppers. Been wanting some of those here lately.
So sorry to hear about your Grandfather. I know what you're going through with the recent illness and passing of my own Grandpa. I'll be thinking of you!
Oh..and btw..No..your Mom is NOT the only human on earth to not have Internet..my Mom doesn't either..LOL They'd probably get along good!..LOL
