FEW AND FAR BETWEEN.

I LOVE SUMMER ! I guess you all can guess that seeing that I am hardly here for the time being. But HAHAHA ... I am such a dope, I came here a bit ago and didn't even recognize my own page ... I was like 'who the hec's page is this ????' ..... I had forgotten I changed my background. Yaaaaa .. I'm a dork.

So, been busy - bought a pool for the kids, a decent sized pool and I think I've been in it more than them. HahHA.... the pool's filter currently isn't working, but I guess I will figure that out later. Adam gets super finicky about it, and wants to clean the pool everyday - it drives me insane, but oh well.

The 4th was okay, nothing too great as years past, but that is ok, I guess. It is my all time FAVE holiday after all - but next year will be better. Vacation was put off for a few weeks - so we just stayed in Tomah. We watched the fireworks in town - and I still have Rikki to thank for that because I would never have even known they did any until she told me last year .... DURRR ! Usually we go someplace new for the 4th, so staying at home is newer to us.

Speaking of vacation .. as of right now we leave here at 7:30 am on the 22nd. Adam currently refuses to go with - so the kids and I will go alone. I have NO idea why he don't want to go, but then again at this moment I don't care either.

I am looking forward to alone time with it being just the kids and I. - we are gonna have a total blast and we are soooo excited !!!  It will take us roughly 9 hours to get to the Rapid City / Keystone area in South Dakota. I figure with one or two stops we should be there no later than 5 in the evening and have plenty of time to set up camp at our fave KOA spot there in Hill City. Then we'll do Mount Rushmore for a day again, Deadwood, Devils Tower (Wyoming) and then I am really looking forward to going to Alzeda, Montana with the kids on one of those days and eating at the little general store that is there. I know it is no big deal, but we all really like it. If we had more time the kids and I wanted to go to Washington and Oregon - but maybe that can be next years thing. I haven't been there yet and ya'll know I can't just go by South Dakota without stopping - oh no, no, no. :O) It is one of my most fave places on earth !

So I guess before I end this blog I should say something about Micheal Jackson. I wasn't around blogland for that week but guess I am glad. I seriously don't want to hear anymore about it. Look, in 1984, when I was in 4th grade - I liked him, but, that was along time ago - now I reallllllllllllllllly hate all 80's music. In fact I hate it so much that I will run away from it if I hear it. YUK. So, that being said, I am sorry he died or whatever - but we all do sooner or later, I was more shocked that Billy Mays died to be honest. I think he (MJ) was a nice guy, with problems from his past (aren't we all in some way?) I don't think he child molested anyone, and it aint my place to judge him anyway ... so that is all I have to say about that. I must say though that I find it CRAZILLY BAZZAAAR that my kids like the 80's crap that I don't. I hated most of it when it was out and now they listen to it, that is just plain weird. If I had willingly listened to my mothers 50's music I would have already killed myself ! ACK ! What is wrong with my children ?!?!? Good lord ! Kids aren't supposed to like what there parents grew up with.

Yep, yep, so that is all my spaced out brain has to say.... I will have pictures - soon, if I can ever find my USB cord. I set it somewhere ... just where that somewhere is, is the problem ! Tahaha !
