Hi again all. I am currently sitting at the library typing this. Brought the girls over here this afternoon to read a few books and find a couple to take home as well, so I thought I would jump on here with the few seconds I have and jot down some thoughts.
1) Okay, okay - I can't keep it a secret any more ! My Mothers Day suprise was ... a puppy ! Yep - like I needed more chaos, however this kind is tolerable - hehehe ! He is just a little squirt, a bit bigger than my hand. Part Chihuahua and a terrier mix .. and OH sooo cute ! I haven't got a pic yet of the little monster, but as soon as I get a chance I will show ya'll what he looks like ! We keep changing his name though, the first few days it was "Monster", now it is "Nibblet" ... or um, "Nibby" as the girls have been calling him. Gracie and Cam call him "Pup - Pup" LOL... so I wonder what he'll end up being called ?!
2) Today we had a memorial service for Wyatt. I know ya'll are thinking ' what the hec ??? Why did they wait so long ?? ... well, I really don't know to be honest ... Maybe cuz it just got warm on a daily basis here - I don't know. Anyway it was nice. They did a burial with a few other babies in LaCrosse at a Catholic Cemetery and we all attended. Hannah was crying uncontrolablly and was so sad, this of course made it harder for me to try to keep it together. SIGH ... I try everyday to NOT think about it, but I really should still be pregnant with him, not burying him. This is hard, even still.
3) Adam works late tonight. A good thing, except for the fact that it is kind of a rainy day here. I was hoping to get outside and tinker in the yard or go to the park. But 'tis spring in Wisconsin ... never the same. Oh well I hear the weekend should be nice, or atleast that is what they are saying at the moment anyway.
4) Been getting alot of yard work done on the nice days anyway ... the yard of the house we moved in looks so much better now and the neighbors keep stopping by to make sure I know that. I know for myself, I don't understand how anyone can be a slob about thier yards, so I am always out making the best of it when I can. Jordan has really been a great big help to me too and he even told me the other day how much he has started to enjoy that time together with me. How nice.
5) The girls have been really dilagent about completeing thier work everyday. Thier attitudes have greatly improved since being away from the regular school setting. They have been argueing amoungst thiersevles alot lately though and that has become tiresome. But all in time I suppose - not too good for a person who has trouble with patience. LOL.
6) Getting the itch already for summer to get here and for us to go camping ! Jordan is ready too and says he can't wait, and is really looking forward to it. We really would like to try to get somewhere we haven't been to yet for the 4th, but as I suppose gas will be up again more by then a trip to the Washington/ Oregon area is what we'd like to do, but it might end up being Mt. Rushmore again. That is okay though, it is one of our fave spots and the 4th of July is my fave holiday, so a definite thing to look forward too !
Well, that is all I got... got to run home and plan dinner. Hope ya'll have a great weekend, I will catch up hopefully sometime soon.
Take Care ... Love and miss ya !
