I'll do it MONDAY ..

I forgot today was Monday. Adam had the day off because of Presidents Day and even though the kids had school, the stuff I always do on Monday, I couldn't get done because the bank and post office were closed. Gosh, it drives me crazy. So ... looks like my Mantra of "I'll do it Monday", turned into I'll do it Tuesday ....

So this weekend was kinda ho hum, all seemed to be oddly quiet around here, and not too many people were around. My page seemed to be acting all weird, I was thinking it was just me, but am now noticing that maybe it isn't as a few others have mentioned it as well. Our Valentines Day was really nice, we don't usually celebrate it, but Adam went out of his way to make it nice this year. (pictures soon)

I was REALLLLLLY looking forward to the race this last weekend tho. Yayyy for that being back on  - atleast I think. For those that know me - ya'll know I was dying without it being on every weekend. The race ticked me off yesterday though. Rain Delay my butt. I swear someone in Nascar needs to be kicked in the head.. what is wrong with these idiots anymore ?! Matt Kenseth "won" but not because he deserved it, only because of some "rain .. that wasn't even there !

Like I said ... I had some photos I wanted to share .. BUT .. SIGH .. I can't. Why ??? You ask ?! SIGH .... Adam has given my laptop a virus. Bad news. It won't let me do anything. Good thing I had everything saved this time but I am still mad. Seems as though he got a virus attached to a song from iTunes or something. I know nothing about computers, so he will have to look into fixing it, he can figure it out. I did try to do a system restore though, but it won't let me. Whatever. GRRRR !

This of course makes me want to give him what is now "my" laptop and get ME a new one ! I want that little paper thin one, it looks cool and has a touch screen and I can take on the road with me when we go on vacations. Yea, I know that might not be happening for a while as it used to, but ... that's ok. We finally got word on the tax return and let's just say I was shocked ! What we are getting back is such a pleasant suprise and will cover everything it was intended to and we will still have some left. :O) WOOO HOOO !

We went over to that other house today and some kids broke in AGAIN and stole a few things and wrote graffitti like stuff all on the windows.. again. We called the cops and they tooks pics and wrote a report. They think the high schoolers are doing it during lunches and have had alot of people complaining about things like this. Seems to me they should stop letting the high schoolers out for lunch, if you ask me.

This reminds me, I STILL cannot get a hold of our Landlord... he was supposed to be here JANUARY 21st .. and never showed up. He still hasn't been over. I am worried. Here it is February 16th today and he still hasn't been by to get last months rent or this months rent. I drove by his house and no one is there ... What the hec?!

The teacher thing the other day at the school ended up being cleared today .. the teacher appologized to Brittany over the loud speaker and admitted she was wrong. I was so suprised that Adam did not lose his temper that day, because he does have anger issues. But that is exactly why he said he had to leave. I was glad that they had the teacher appologize to her publically. Had it been me that day, I don't think I would have been so nice. Guess God had his reasons for sending Adam in that day .. it would have normally been me.

Ah well .. I got some things to do around here, Adam and Jordan are back at the other house still cleaning it. We are going to ask the LL about painting if we can ever get a hold of him, this will help with money here, which is nice to have.

So hope ya'll have a good rest of the day. I will be around, but looks like on one of the kids computers till I can get mine figured out. SIGH.
