SOME THOUGHTS ..

1) I have been so busy all week, it has seemed to fly right on by ! I didn't even realize it was Friday till a little bit ago.

2) Gracie woke up realllly late today, just after noon. I helped her downstairs and Cameron promptly gave the the biggest hug ! I wish I had - had my camera !

3) Jordan bought Cameron a game yesterday called "Let's go Fishing" .. he has played it every hour since and screams out everytime he gets a fish ... "Me got one" !

4) Jordan will be doing some volunteer work at Goodwill tommorrow for some credit points for school. I guess this is something new they started.

5) Adam and I got into it BIG yesterday, no kidding, I seriously almost left. I don't want to talk more about it though, just alot going through my head.

6) Yesterday morning I was watching the weather channel and they were talking about how cold it was on Florida ..... it was almost 35 here. In the afternoon here, I saw people out in T-Shirts. Crazyy !!!!

7) I haven't had laundry soap all week, let me tell you I am paying for that today.

8) We'll go try to clean that house tommorrow. Water is finally back on and all fixed ... atleast it had better be.

9) It is nice and sunny here today, makes me want to go for a walk. I liked the walk the other day - even though it was cold. I can't wait till spring, living in town now, I can walk somewhere everyday. I just wish spring would hurry.

10) Adam thinks we should get our phones back on ... he has his resume out and without a phone on - chances might be alot less. We do want to move, so it is a choice I have to decide on. We have Alltel, and I heard they joined with Verizon - which might increase the rates. :O(

11) Heard on the news today that a bunch of stores might be closing soon. Gap, Starbucks, Sears and Kmart. Very Sad ! I like the Gap.I noticed yesterday in town that our Quizno's closed and a few others had going out of buissness signs up. :O( This kinda stuff is worry some. We talked to the guy at Radio Shack here (we go there to pay our elec. & gas bills) and he is worried too, seems they aren't doing all that great either. So much can be said about all this, but it just seems to be getting worse. When will it get better ?

Well - that is allI have to say  Hope ya'll have a Fantastic Friday !!! :O)

TAMMIE   :o)~

  3. Hope all goes well for you cleaning that house.

I just read a article about all those stores closing. It is sad.

I agree you should try to get your phone back on. How will the places hubby has applied to get a hold of him for interviews without it? Do they email about stuff like that now? I'm clueless. lol

Hope you get to enjoy the nice weather with a walk. Have a great weekend!

  4. Wow what made Gracie wake up so late? Is she feeling okay?

Sorry about the argument you had yesterday. Ugh. i hope you can work things out.

Glad everything is fixed and you are able to get into that house to clean. The extra money will be nice!

I have a feeling things are going to get much more worse. Only Goody's here is closed so far. That's a lot of business for right in your area...I agree with Adam that he probably needs a phone so people can easily contact him about jobs.

Its upper 50's here today and not a cloud in the sky. K has a friend stayign the night over and they are busy playing but i would like to go for a walk!

  5. I read about the closings... I'm not surprised. The market is far too saturated with retail stores anyway. Something's gotta give somewhere. I drive around and look at all the stores and wonder how in the world they can all make money.

Adam is right. He needs a way for the potential employees to contact him!

  8. Lots of stores closing here as well....I think nationwide, really!!

  9. Sadly we are losing many stores in our area! It's everywhere! I think the news said most of those stores were downsizing, not gone. But with the way things are going, I'm not suprised...

  10. We have alltel too, but to my knowledge the merger hasn't gone through as of yet. I mean I just paid my bill about a week ago and I still logged in on the alltel website to do it. So this is a good time to go back if that's your plan.

It's been warm here too. 60's low 70's. I've enjoyed the warmth during the day. But the cold front is already sliding in. it was only 47ยบ today :( It's snowing on the other side of the mountain today in Woodland Park. But they aren't expecting us to get any til about Tuesday.

Stay warm and take care of the peanut.

  11. Feels like a house of cards sometimes doesn't it. When one falls, they all go. Stay warm this weekend. I'm not welcoming this second crazy cold snap but I'll get through it knowing Spring is inevitable.

  12. 10. Do you have a Wal Mart or similar store near by? Net 10 is the way to go. NO contract you just buy a phone and a card to add minutes. 10 cents a minute for calls and 5 cents for texts. Plus I have an IA number and live in TN and my rates are still the same. AND even if you are in roaming you still pay the same rate. Rarely do I find anywhere that I am without service. Better than nothing.

  13. If you have Metro PCS you can get an unlimited phone for $35 a month, first month free..no contract. You have to purchase the phone unless you have a old sprint or verizon, they can turn those on too!

  14. We haven't noticed much as far as store closings here, but Texas has a pretty good economy despite the nationwide recession. I'm sure it will hit in some way, but not sure it will be as bad as what other parts of the country are going through.

I do believe that our cities are too retail saturated and perhaps this is merely a correction of that. Doesn't make it fun to have to drive further for the stores we like, but I think it will balance out once we get through this financial crisis.

Hope you have a good weekend and no more fights!

  15. Hey girlie! I'm doing good! Thanks for stopping by...you need to come by 360 and visit me sometime. I know..I'm starting to get excited about Nascar too! My Husband had Trackside on the other night..they had Jimmie Johnson on..got me more in the mood for some Racin'!! Whoohoo! I've been so into Football lately...but once the Superbowl is over I'll ready for em' to "start those ENGINES!!"..lol Glad to hear your weather is a little warmer there..I know you're getting sick of the cold. We actually got some Snow here on Tues...but then Thurs. and Fri. I had the windows open!!..lol Crazy huh! It's really cold and windy today though..but the sun is out..for now at least. Hope u get your phone back on..we're w/Cricket..do ya'll have that there? They're pretty reasonable. Good luck cleaning the house..don't work too hard..u are pregnant ya know!..Hehe! 16. I agree with the Net 10, prepaid idea. We have Vigin Mobile, we pay 13 cents a minute, but if something happens to our phones, I'm changing to Net 10, because of the cheaper rates. At least it would be cheaper/easier than getting into a contract that could cost a fortune, if for financial reasons, you had to cancel......Hug

  17. We went and looked at some over the weekend, they do't have that brand here, but they have one other. For us it looks to just be cheaper to finish out our contract with Alltel, so that is probably the way we'll go. I just have to cancel a few other things first.
