UGH.. let me tell you.
I was up till 5, I couldn't sleep. No matter what I did, it just wasn't happening. No bother .. I am used to it and will probably take a nap later. So 11 strolls around and since Adam is home today he wakes earlier then me making tons of noise and starts to scream at me for the van's battery being dead. Appearantly he wanted to go somewhere. Well, now .. yes, it is my fault ! I haven't even went ANY where near the van in well over a week now, so yes, it is MY fault !
He doesn't seem to get this whole moving thing either .. he don't think I am as serious about it as I am. Seriously, even if I have to work at a Waffle House 20 hours out of a day, I will leave by myself. He can join the rest of the hateful folks around here and stay if he so chooses.
What is it with men ? Is it men - - or is it people in general ? Why does it seem so hard to have a positive outlook on things and be calm about it ? I just do not see what anger helps. Maybe it is just me.
Well, since the kids have school here this is going to prove to be a great day I am sure. I know once Jordan gets home, he'll get blamed too .. Adam is just like his Mother in that he thinks nothing is ever done by him that is wrong.No wonder all of his brothers' WIVES are filing for divorce, they are all the same.
Well, gotta go - I just got demanded to go to the bank. Great.

Well often the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I should of figured that out years ago and ran..lol! I often get all the blame put on me for shit that isn't my fault. Or if J does something or vice versa, we're lumped together even if the other had nothing to do with it. Lovely isn't it? M is Mr. Negative through and through. I'm an optimist and I also know when things are beyond my control and I accept them and move on. So we clash a lot. Hope your day gets better! Thank God M works tonight!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwww I am so sorry! I know when hubby is upset he tends to blame other people! I am very surprised on how well he's handing the lay off. He's doing lots better then me!!! I am sorry you weren't able to sleep either. I feel for you!!! I hope you'll get soem tonight!!! I don't think the bank will be open! A lot are closed for MLK!! Hugs

ReplyDeleteIt's like Tomah didn't get the message...HELLOOOOO.....it's Martin Luther King Day!!! LOL Seriously, that is so odd. It's ALWAYS been a holiday around here, schools, banks, post office, any government anything....all closed today.

Nope everything is opened here I swear but the post office. MLK is not an everyone holiday. They do not close everything for it every where. In the town I grew up in - in NW Indiana it was always the same exact way as here .. nothing was ever closed for this and we always went to school. Bank closed at 3 today, an hour early .. I just checked to be sure.
ReplyDeleteNope, Like I said above, nothing is ever closed. PO was closed and bank was open all day but closed an hour early, everything else was open. I know it may sound racist, but this an all white community just like the one I grew up in.. so maybe why. No one cares. I dunno. In Indiana only Gary or Chicago had the day off, never us.
ReplyDeleteThe van ... Adam found the key turned wrong ? or soomething. He found someone to give hi ajump and now it seems fine. We went to the bank and wally world to get a few bits of food and then he has went to that other house to install new locks for the LL. I HOPE it don't happen tommorrow, I have that health insurance appointment.
Nope all was open but the PO.

I know not everyone celebrates it, some schools are closed, some aren't, but I was sure that the government offices were closed and banks. I know the government offices are, I needed to call the IRS and they're closed.
ReplyDeleteYa' know... I think they just need to make up thier mind whether it is or isn't a real holiday. You go one place and all is closed and another it's all open. Just weird. I guess it will always be that way though .. not everyone does Christmas anymore either, so more places have to stay open to reamin politically correct. Shhhheeeesh !
