Hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving weekend !
I cleaned my patootie of most of that day .. hardly NO ONE was around here and then I wrote a blog.. Pretty much was the same for Friday as well, so I just decided to make myself scarce the rest of the weekend. Looks like I have quite a many blogs to try to catch up on for that decision ! LOL !
Have been really sore the last few days, I haven't been sleeping well. Had to run to Wal - Mart at 5 this morning to get some Tylenol or something. .. my knees and wrists hurt so bad... like they were on fire inside - best way I can think of how to descibe it. But it comes from the inside and I get it alot, I just know when I had pushed myself to far... as this was the case. I just finally had some energy to clean, so I had to use it.
I took down all the fall decorations I had up over the weekend, but no Cmas stuff is up yet. Don't know when I will put it up ... hmmm.
I am finding that I am tired of using the kids computer up here ... GRRRrr. Went to Best Buy to see what a new cord costs ... 110.00 !!!!! ... needless to say I walked out.
It snowed here all last night and today ... YUK ! Everything is white.
My kids TV's have all died within the last month. Weird that they all croaked in realitively the same period ... I am glad though and they ain't getting new ones ! Pffft ! I am seeing more of them now ! and we like that alot better. Besides oddly we were going to think of getting rid of them anyways.
Strolled out on Friday - late afternoon to browse a few stores. Didn't end up doing alot, stopped at the pawn shop - and then went to Petco .... there wasn't ANYONE in there but us, so this lady in there let the kids see all the pets they wanted.... they got to see and hold the Ferrets and a big bird named Maverick that was a Conure. They also got to hold a Guinea Pig and a bunny. They really liked that, so going out wasn't a total loss even though I didn't have any money. I wished I had my camera with though, but I hadn't expected to be taking pictures ! Figures .. don't it ?!
Today I am kinda just putting around the house, I have to vaccuum yet and do some more laundry. I have to go to Wal- Mart in a bit to get some razors, Or I will become a hairy beast ! lol !
Tommorrow there is a book coming out that I am VERY excited about, so I will be off to LaCrosse first off in the morning to go to Barnes and Noble ! I put money aside and have been waiting ! Weeee ! Knowing me, ya'll gotta know it is the Duggars book ... "20 an Counting" WHOO HOOO !
I also have a chock load full of stuff to take to Once Upon A Child. I usually always make out good there ... so a few extra (ha ha not really) dollars will be nice to have.
Grrrrr ! My kids have THIER iTunes on this computer and I hate it ! DON'T ASK ME ... how the hec Jordan even LIKES 80's music !!!! YUKKKKKKKKK ! I absolutely freaking hate it ! It is so old lady stuff ! GAK ! Okay ... so what I like Country, but atleast it is new .. and usually wehen I can remember things with it, I hate it. Weird huh ? That's why I hate 80's music... to tooooo many baddd memories ! I hate remembering !
Adam has been on a quest to find some new Guitar Hero World Tour or something .... He was pretty ticked to hear that someone had it on sale Friday ... we had no money. Oh well. !
My phone gets turned off today :O( I don't have the money to pay the bill for a while, so who knows how long it will be off... next to go is Dish ... I know I will miss it, but we really don't NEED it. Ya' Know... it is more or less just habit. BUT it is best it go anyway. I have been putting off doing it - even though I know I should. TV really does take so much time away from other things.
GAH,,, there is an awful draft of some kind coming in here ... I need to find out from where it cometh ! and KILL it !
Yikes .. that reminds me .. can ya'll believe it is December 1st already ???!!?!? WOW ! This year has gone by so fast ! That is a good thing for me though ... since it has stunk for me, I am more than happy to see it end !!! :O)
The time has come ! I am saving up for my vacation next year. I gots to get away. I am thinking one of the states I haven't been to yet ... although I REALLLLLLLLLLLLY want to go back east. I miss Jersey SOOOO much... so that would be great to hit all the eastern seaboard ! I would tackle 6 more states I think --- making my total 44 states ! WOO HOO ! Anyone know any great places to NOT miss up that way ? I have not been to Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Conneticut or Massachusetts. And they are all coastal ! YIPPPEEE ! I LLUV the ocean !
I will only have left then Hawaii, Alaska, Louisiana, Washington, Oregon, and Florida !
Can ya tell I luv to travel ! I wish I had money right now I would go to Florida ! Snow on the ground and cold weather is NOT for me !!!!!!

Definitely DO NOT miss going to MAine!! by far one of the prettiest places I've ever been.. if there was a lot of business up there, the hubs and I would for sure move there!! I've never been to Alaska but it's on my list of places to visit. VT and CT are also great places to visit too!!! I'm not a Florida fan so much - maybe b/c I grew up down south and we went there frequently!!!

I also took down most of my fall stuff (didn't have that much stuff up) but haven't really started on the Christmas stuff!!! We are going to Chicago this weekend so I'm gonna wait until we get back to do any real decorating!!
I went out on Black Friday and didn't buy a thing!!! Just can't get into the spirit, which is odd.. since I used to not be in the spirit when I worked at Crate and Barrel but now that I don't, you'd think I'd be back in the spirit.. maybe I'm a closeted GRINCH!!!! Who knew!!!

ReplyDeleteNo Christmas stuff up yet!?!?! We had our tree up last weekend, the lights outside this weekend, and all the odds and ends I'm finishing up today!!! YAY!!! I love Christmas time!!!
I've never been to the East Coast, except for Florida! We flew into Georgia, does that count? But I'd love to go to a few of them.
Did you ever try ebay for a cord, I'm telling you, best place to get replacement cords and such, I use it all the time!!!
Well, I'm off to finish cleaning...
Nope no Christmas stuff yet. Wanna come do mine. I hate doing the holiday decorating. I am a grinch. Besides haves no money to put anything under a tree this year anywho :O)
ReplyDeleteUmmm, I wanna come back to Cali. But I LOVE the New York New Jersey area... that was home to me for 7+ years and I miss it so much. I should have visited those states then, just didn't.
I did try eBay, but almost everyone wanted Paypal and I cant use Paypal. No one takes money orders anymore :O(

Those are great states you have in mind! My sister lives in NH and she took us for an overnighter to Maine and then up to Boston. It is worth seeing I think.

ReplyDeleteI’m sorry it’s such a tough time for you financially right now. I’m having a tough time too. I hate the stress of having to buy gifts. I am cutting down drastically this year though.
I have most of my xmas decorations up. I think next weekend we will buy our tree. I can’t wait to smell it. I know I am a weirdo.
I would say that Massachusetts is pretty too! After all that is where I live. There are a lot of small, quaint towns. Cape Cod is really nice too for the beaches.
