WARM WEATHER, NOVEMBER AND TIME ...

HEELLLLLO MY LITTLE LOVLIES ! :o()

Can you believe it is November already ? Wow, this year sure went SOOO fast it seems !!! How was ya'lls weekends ? ! Ours was pretty good and the weather made it near impossible to actually stay inside !

Friday Adam and Jordan finally finished the Garage roof while Hannah and I raked the yard of the leaves we had ...

but before we could finish the kids got into the pile and had some fun !

The temps were awesome all weekend,

and I do believe that it was the warmest it has ever been (for this time of the year) since I have lived up here. We ended up atcually finding some pumpkins for the kids late on Friday and they were 75 cents each. They had a good time carving them and

Here is how they turned out ......

So Halloween  turned out super nice and the kids were not buried in their coats and mittens trying to just get out the door and wanting to end it early to go home. We took the kids to the military housing area as we always have and took our time walking around. We saw a few people we knew and got a laugh at some costumes too. It was so nice that the weather was good, people slowed down and didn't rush to go ...

I took this pic at one soldiers house and thought it was soooo awesome that he had it there !

Then we saw Supernanny ! I wanted to ask her if she'd come help my family !

Cameron was totally mezmorized with everything, and sooo exuberant about it all too ! The littlest things would get him so excited. it was so cute to see. LOOK AT DAT ... or "BOO MM (blue M and M) Mommy" he'd say ... or "OOOh scawy how -o ween hose (scary Halloween house) mommy" ... I can't help it, but I totally just loved all those moments !

I Was SO suprised he was ready to go and remembered the "drill" from last year ! He was so excited about picking out his very own costume this year and he wanted to show everybody. Needless to say when bed time came, he did NOT want to take it off for bed, so we let him sleep in it ! What does it hurt ? You're only a kid once !

Jordan went with us, but texted on the phone while walking most of the time and Britany kept running into various friends , so most of the TRTing time it was just Hannah, Cameron and Gracie with us.

Gracie wasn't at all phased about things around her though ....

She loves people and was happy to see everybody we'd go up to.  I was suprised she wasn't scared at some of the houses or people, but all she did was smile at everyone. Untill she got all tuckered out !

So, all the candy we got is gone through and alot is gone already tooo ... we all helped with that tho ...  the kids got a few odd things, play doh, a cup and a bat ring. Alot of folks I noticed were not handing out candy this year - instead leaving notes... one said they couldn't afford any candy this year. SAD. I hope this isn't a veiw of what is to come.

Another thing before I go, the time changed ... and I forgot till this morning when we missed church. UGH, I really do NOT see the point of it anymore though, why don't people just wake up earlier or stay up later if they want "more time "  ??????

And do you know what ?!?!?!?!

I went to the store for a brief second today to get a few sodas and they ALREADY have the  aisles chock FULL of Christmas items ! GRRRR !!!! It is only November 2nd here - pa- leeeease ! I really hate the commercialization of the holidays anymore. It seriously makes me a scrooge.

Well, hope ya'll had a great weekend ! I gotta go do my Sunday chores about the house, change the cat litter and bird cage, take out the garbage and do the laundry .. as usual I have been sitting here re organizing and re doing my page and surfing all day. LOL.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE !

TAMMIE

  1. yep, it's amazing how fast the stores turn on the "Christmas cheer"...... I say that with all the sarcasm I can possibly muster....

I think soon, they'll be lobbying to just skip Thanksgiving altogether!

    Sigh......

glad the weather was good for your trick or treating....and the pictures are adorable!

We don't have to change our clocks b/c we stay the same the whole year through.. it's kind of nice!!! I love when you guys fall behind b/c now my parents are only 2 hours behind and I don't have to call them so early on the week nights so I can catch them before they go to bed!!!

  4. I here you on the xmas stuff... I bought almost all my presents online yesterday so I don't even have to brave the stores! Even though I can't afford it, I will pay the few dollars of shipping to not deal with stores!

  5. I know, I was reading an article about how AZ and Hawaii are the only two states that do not do time change , while Alaska and Florida are petitoning to not do so as well. I wish we didn't have to ..... ahhh, that would be soo nice.

  6. I had to go to Walgreens this morning and when I was waiting for my photo's to be developed I was walking through the isles. Yup, I saw Christmas stuff too.

I STILL think Gracie looks cute in her outfit.

This time change thing has me all off too. I woke up at 6am this morning by myself...my body thought it was 7am which is usually the time it wakes up on the weekends. Now it's 8pm and I'm already tired!!
