MONDAY MUMBLE'S ...

HI ALLL !!! Hope ya'll are good today !

Not alot to say today. Ok ...maybe a little. lol. :O)

Gracie has the Dr. appointment in a little bit to get the stitches out of her head and can you believe it ???? She fell this morning into a different table and hit the SAME spot, making it all goofy looking again ! The doctor is going to think we are nuts ! Poor child.

I couldn't sleep at all last night which of course caused me to do alot of thinking ...uh oh ... so I am just wondering this: In a nation that seems so dead set on wanting prayer out of schools, no religious freedom and "In God We Trust" OFF the money we all use - why is it that the issue of same sex marriage should be a suprise ? Or that a man/woman/it has a baby ? or that ALOT of rights are now wrong, and wrongs now right ? If we are not based as a country on Religion --- why are these even issues then ????

Sorry - brain issues there ....

Brittany tried to escape out the door with some thug looking hair do this morning, so I told her if she comes home with it like that , I was going to buzz her hair off ! Hmmm, pictures may be coming ! HA HA !

It snowed here this morning, stuck a little too. Grrr. :O(

Cam keeps saying "DAT HOME, DAT HOME" ... he is watching Dora, and everytime he sees a toy commercial he says he wants to bring the toy home. It is kinda cute. I do hate the idea of stepping up the commercials though for the holiday season. Grrr.

I am being such a scrooge ... I am sorry, I don't mean to offened anyone, but I just hate this time of year anymore !!!! Between all the commercialism, greed and spend, spend, spend attitude of alot of people :O(  I am NOT full of holiday seasonal "whatever it is called" crap. We looked through our bills, and with 3 pay days left and our refusal to use credit, we seriously are not having any money to buy ANYTHING ! ANYTHING ! that is NOT A JOKE ! We will be lucky to just be able to get food ! We have not even enough money to pay the rent, water, electric, and phone. So this looks promising. I just wish it would ALL go away. Bad enough our so called holiday season starts out with turkey TV dinners. OOOOOH yummmmm !!! Suuuure makes you look forward to that delightful yummieness !!!

SO please forgive me if I disappear for a bit of time around here. I don't want to rain on anyones parade or make you feel all moody because I have something stuck up my ass. This has just been one very verrrrry badd suck ass years ! One I will be more than happy to shove wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy out the door !

Gosh, I hate seeming like I am in a mood all the time ! I wish it would knock it off. I keep trying to be positive, but daaaang, it just ain't working !  I have been trying really hard to work on being thankful, but ...It is so hard !

Well, gotta go get ready, I will be back later most likely ! Hope ya'll have a better day, I am sorry for being so bumstead all the time. Please forgive me.  The negativity is one VERRRRY  harddd habit to break !

TAMMIE

  3. I can only imagine how emotionally draining it must be, I wish there was something I could do to snap you out of this funk!
DOn't let money get in the way of the holiday spirit. Although times are hard, everyone is feeling the crunch these days, try to think positive and about all the good things going on in life. The music, the fun, the pretty lights, your family being together.... I CANT wait! I have such a horrible itch to start decorating. Last night we danced around in the kitchen blaring the christmas music!!! Thats what it is all about!! Not the buying of gifts. Besides, as much as you WANT to be able to buy nice things for your kids, its teaching themthat is not what this season is all about.
I cant lie, I like to spoil my kids when I can, I know we all do, buttry and look at the flip side of things. Life really isnt that bad.....
    We're all here and healthy!!!
I hope Gracie's appointment goes well today!!!

  6. Money shouldn't have you hating Christmas, there is so much you can do with out needing presents. Seriously.

If you DO feel like it is an issue. Call Toys for Tots. Or some place. Surely your kids qualify.

Just something to think about. ;)

  7. It has been a rough year for you Tammie, I'm not surprised you are feeling in the dumps.

Mandi is right. My SIL (my twin brothers wife) called toys for Tots 3 years in a row because they just really could not afford presents for their 5 kids. The kids were fine with it, and they got something, anyway. The toys for tots goes all the way up to teenagers, and 2 of my brothers kids were older at the time.

It was hard for them to take the plunge and do it, but they did and don't regret it. The service is there for a reason!! :)

  9. We used it one year when we lived in Indiana. It isn't bad, but they never had what my kids wanted and I know I shouldn't be bitching then because it makes no sence, but I doubt they still will. My kids like electronic stuff, not really alot of "toys" here...

see... makes no sence, I should just shut up.

  10. We don't have alot of money. But every year my kids each pick out a "toy" for tot to donate. And they let us donate makeup! You never know... they might get "different" stuff. ;)

  11. Well, I will look online right now to see what it says... if not I will call someone to find something out. Everytime I ask anyone around here anything, they get so snotty with me, so I hate dealing with it all.
