OMG! Gracie broke my computer. :O( Well, about as close as it can come. I was resting my head on the couch this afternoon and quite literally two seconds later she swoops around to where I left the laptop on the coffee table, plugged in. she runs up and pushes it OFF the table and broke the cord. BROKE. THE. CORD. ! Snapped it right in half. How does one DO that even ???
WHAT am I going to do ? GAHHH, go crazy ? ok,ok ... go crazier than I already have become ... is that even possible ?
So when my battery is dead, I have no way to charge up ... looks like I get to take a break ?! Joy ! I dun wanna take a break ! :O( This is what I DO ... I sit here alot and read. It is easiest to do and helps me ignore the pain I have and ignore cleaning my house ! :"o)
Anyways, I also wanted to mention, that from now on when I am on here, I will be more invisible to some of you .. There are a few reasons I am choosing to be so and also that I keep getting odd lurkers and comments from weirdos. So I am setting my blogs to some contacts only. Maybe it will distract the wonkyburger from Thailand or wherever that has sent me 9 invites in the last two weeks, you think he'd get the point. Yes, I have blocked him/them, but still want to go invis. anyway. So if YOU don't hear from me, I am here somewhere .. just not blogging to everyone.
Oh well...gotta save battery ... what ever am I going to do ? Do they even make new cords for laptops ? Are they expensive ? Gaaaad, I hope not, I haven't any money. :O(

Ugh...I feel for you! The cords are expensive, you can get cheap universal cords on Ebay for like $10-$20, careful with them though...they don't last. But it might buy you some time.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry your cord broke. I hope you can find a cheap one. Do you have a local Freecycle group? You could post a wanted ad. People do that on our local group all the time. Stuff is free. Can't hurt to ask. ;) I hope your strange stalker visitors go away.

ReplyDeleteFirst off dang Gracie. Take your cord to Radioshack when you get a chance and see if they have a replacement cord. But I warn you, they aren't usually cheap.
