Nothing could be father from the truth ! Yes, this is a joke ..... I recieved an e-mail this morning from my SIL; Linda ... saying that her son became a father last night .... the email went like this.
" Nick became a father last night, it was a boy, they are going to call him Wyatt."
So I typed back, is this a joke ??
I really seriously do believe that is it, you'd have to know her .... anyway, if it isn't It is like the pot calling the kettle black - you see NICK is 18. And all these years - knowing I was 16 when I had Jordan, she'd always say .. my kids are going to college and would never do anything like that .....
So it leaves me totally perplexed today ... I can't get a hold of Adam to call his brother - ding dong never answers his phone - so, I know this is going to drive me nuts all day ....
I guess I shouldn't mention WHY Jordan broke up with Tiffany then ... but part of me wants to laugh my ass off, I am sorry ... I shouldn't be that way ... but dang, this could be goooood.
Anyways, Our family already thinks were nuts about the whole issue of not believing in BC ... so IF I DO find out this is a joke ....

(and WYATT even ???? TA HA ... she already knew if we had another boy it would be named Wyatt.) Sheesh !

Sorry, I wrote about it the other day in a blog ... Jordan broke up with his loooong time GF Tiffany because she wanted to have "relations" before marriage.... this is something I have tried to instill in them that saving yourself for marriage means alot, and this is the path we wish our kids to take before all else .... it meant alot that to Jordan he sees this the way I always wanted him to. Funny - is why I brought this up, because if this is not a joke, she always thought I would be the one in this boat.

ReplyDeleteInteresting, and I have no idea what to say ... I mean she always made me feel weitrd for having Jordan so young too ... and would always burst out about how her kids were so good and this and that and going to college and what not ....
I mean, I don't want to judge, I have been there, but knowing you were there makes you want better, maybe ... I dunno. I just think I thought she knew everything and had it so well, when all along she is kinda like me anyway.
I still think kids should remain pure till marriage, I sure wish I had, and if it werent for them sweet talking words, I would have. I am just glad that Adam I married anyway, ya know ...

Wait...so what does your SIL's kid having a kid have to do with Jordan's ex? Are they related some how...or are is SHE preggo too? I"m a bit confused.

It's like this, Her sister in law always looked down on Tammie because Tammie had Jordan when she was 16. So, she always implied that when SHE (her SIL) had kids, HER kids would not do that, they would go to college and then get married and have kids, the proper way. However, her SIL's son, Tammie nephew got a girl pregnant out of wedlock at 18, while Tammie's son Jordan, actually broke up with his girlfriend because she wanted to have sex before marriage.

As for the SIL , It irritates the heck out of me when people judge , you should never judge another person because no one knows what can happen on this path of life .. My sister had a child at 15 and I cannot imagine my nephew not in my life and I am dang glad she had him ..Don't let it get to you and looks like payback is knocking .. I always say , what goes around , comes around ..

ReplyDeleteOh, I have no idea... we really don't talk all that often to family. No one mentioned it ... so I was totally shocked when I got the email ... I thought she was pulling a prank on me, cuz shes good at that. BUt it was true.... and I am still shocked. lol. So... if they knew - they didn't say anything.

ReplyDeleteI think though that she prolly was embarrassed to say something or maybe feels bad for saying things about Adam and I for doing the same thing so young, but after thinking about it all day, I am going to send her an email to let her know I understand and that if she wants to talk about it that I am here. I totally don't harbour any bad feelings toward her for things said, she s a hoot, but I feel bad now for thinking meanly earlier. But for the grace of God - go I.
That is nice of you...if nothing else she should be able to realize that it can work...you and Adam are living proof.
