MUNDANE MONDAY ...

Ahhhh, another start to another week. Usually I clean the house on Mondays, but today I just decided to do it tommorrow ... I just wasn't in the mood to clean things today... but that's ok ... it will still be there tommorrow. :o) I did however paint the walls in the stairway going to the basement and pulled off the ugly wallpaper that coated our laundry room, I did take pictures of the ugly room and will show them all once I am back online at the end of the week ! One good thing for me to look forward to ! I have a few more things to do around here before we are "done" tho. This last weekend we finished the front porch area finally and painted the front door, caught up on laundry and the dude brought over all the stuff for us to reroof the garage. Jordans new girlfriend and her parents came by on Saturday ... they took him to LaCrosse to find a dress for homecoming and eat out. The homecoming dance was that night. I got pictures of that too.. so I can't wait to show ya'll. I really am not all that crazy about his new girlfriend tho ... I mean she is a nice girl, I guess... but there are just things that irk me a little. Oh well, I know I can trust Jordan tho .. he broke up with his long time girlfriend because she wanted to have premarital sex and it made me proud that he wants to remain pure. He says it is a matter of trust. Maybe perhaps I did something right ?! Oh that reminds me the kids got their progress reports at school and while with no surprise Jordans grades weren't all that great .. Brittany will be making HONOR ROLL. I am so proud and it shows that she has been working her butt off too .. I was thinking about taking her out for dinner or something.... even tho we are constant eat outers.. so maybe, a movie instead. Hmmm... Hannahs grades are very poor. MOst of you know she is special needs and that I told them she was in no way ready at all for the 6th grade, but no one listens to me ... according to them, Wisconsin is a "leave no child behind" state. OKKK. .. so what do they do.. let illiterate kids graduate because they won't hold them back ? Maybe that is why the drop out rate is high near us .. I swear. Well anyways, this next week, I'll be pretty busy with things.. got to find some Halloween costumes for the kids - prolly go to Goodwill for that, put some money aside for our Halloween dinner to Pizza Hut we do every year and do the shopping. I really need another good trip to Sams club.. but I doubt that will happen. Oh and go pay all the lovely bills. We should be getting the dumpster this week, so we can start the garage roof .. ya know.. same ol same ol.. just hope its not cold on the days we start to do it. Well, my gang is home from scholl so I gotta tidy up, get dinner going early so I can watch the Duggars later and do a load of laundry ... Hope yall have a great day !!!!! Tammie :o)
