1) I don't want this to be long ... but knowing me ... ugh, it prolly will be.
2) Gracie woke up at 1:30am with a fever, she didn't go back to sleep till just after 5.... I am so tired today.
3) I am pretty sure she is cutting another tooth... she seems ok today... so far, just a tad cranky.
4) My allergies are insane today ... something tells me that besides the fact it is rainy here, I'll be being kinda lazy today.
5) I have to do laundry ... GOD ! Why can't I just be rich enough to NOT do it !
6) I think I am ready for lunch. I have been doing pretty good, no fat stuff, didn't even buy any.. we don't usually keep alot around, but it is a bad thing to get into. And I am actually doing ok with out the soda... WWoo hooo ! If it isn't here, I can't drink it !
7) I have to think about when I get to do the school shopping. We have 36 days till school starts here. UGH..... I LUV shopping, but am not looking forward to it at all this year.
8) Why am I not looking forward to it ? My kids are spoiled BRATS that is why ... and this year I am having trouble spoiling them. But how can you go to school without NEW clothes .. I have never done that to them .... How can I not step into the mall for shopping ??? OYYY... I seriously do not think that will happen ! Call me a weirdo, but I luv spending the day with the kids doing the B2S shopping ..shoes, shirts, jeans ... seeing what is new and "Cool" ... I am a sad, sad sap for brand names, and if I was skinnier I; myself would wear it too !
9) OK..... B2S shopping ONLY reminds me that (gulp) the Holidays REALLY aren't all that far off. I have to plan something, I don't want it to be like last year... that sucked. WOW- YA, that sucked !
10) I am sooo not looking forward to that coming anyway - that means COLD will be here ---- I HATE, HATE, HATE cold ! Can't I stop time ? pleeaassseeeeeee ?
11) Yea... shut up... I know I live in Wisconsin.
12) A and I talked for awhile last night. He really don't like that I talk about him here... so it is hush-hush from here on out. :o( That is going to be hard too. GAHHH !

6) wow good job..did you get a headache from caffiene withdrawl? I only have coffee and have wondered what would happen if I didnt have it for a few days...My mom had a headache for three days when she cut all caffiene out..

ReplyDeleteGood job on sticking to healthier foods, once you go a week and see weight drop you will realize YOU CAN do it and you will like the feeling, hopefully you will continue!! YOu should write what you eat down for a week, journal it. That way if you lose or gain, you can go back and see where you had the issues or things that worked to make you lose. ALso add in there your activity each day....
UGH... School shopping..... I dont want to think about that yet. THank GOd my kids dont care much about clothing as far as brand names etc... then I would be in trouble!!

ReplyDeleteI am having to really cut back on how much clothes I can buy the girls for school this year. First priority, shopping wise, is school supplies, then hopefully, I can get them a couple of new outfits each. I figure if I get everything all washed and hung up nice, they will look at how much clothes they do have, and not be too cranky. =/
I haven't been dissappeared for a week! I have just been...slightly scarce! Haha!
We went garage sale shopping and found some cute clothes that the 9 year old liked, plus a flea market in Wright County had this lady with nice brand name clothes for cheap for both kids.

ReplyDeleteClothes shopping? ugh. My boys are small enough that they don't even understand the concept of B2S cloth shopping. And hopefully they never, ever, ever will. I just don't want to get into that thinking that they have to have new clothes for school. I buy them clothes throughout the year when the deals are good, and that's gonna have to be good enough. It cost enough to try and keep up with just the school supplies! :)~ But then again, I guess it's because I never once got new clothes "just" because of going back to school, and it never killed me! hahahaha
I'm glad you and A have been talking. That's good. I know sometimes you just want to vent, and here seems like a good place to do it, but for me personally (and Matt as well) I try really hard not to say negative things about him to anyone, ever. It's just something we try and do for each other, you know? Even when we are pissed off at each other, we figure that that's between us. But! It's something we discussed and agreed on when we first got married, and I've not always been the best at it, plus, he's never done to me the same things that A has done to you..sooo.......
Now is a good time to start planning for the holidays. Good idea! :)

ReplyDeletemy mom never took me back to school shopping. some years she would randomly take me to buy jeans and that was it.... because i had stopped growing up but i was still growing out. other than that, i had to put all my allowance (and paycheck when i started working) towards clothes. it kind of made me appreciate my clothes a little more.
as for the holidays... i am SO excited!!!! i finally get to have my own big tree and even though the actual holidays will still be spent at my mom's, my roommates and I want to have our own Thanksgiving. I have to say I love winter weather, but then again over here it is a relief from the 100 degree sauna that north carolina turns into during summer. It never snows here and it only gets around the 40s. PLUS there are such cute winter clothes!!!!!!!
About A.... this blog is your place to vent. That is why I do not allow any of my friends or boyfriends from home read it, because I wouldnt feel like I could totally let loose if they were. Since he is a major source of stress in your life, you should be able to talk about him on here as much as you need to. Now, I'm not saying to go around bashing your husband or anything but to be honest.... he needs to understand.

ReplyDeleteMe too... I NEVER got new clothes, ever... well, actually I take that back... I did get a new skirt for 7th grade --- everything else was hand me downs (my sisters) or what was given.I very rarely had matching things and I always wore ugly stuff.

ReplyDeleteOh I am glad I don't have to worry about the back to school or name brand stuff. My mom never bought us brand new stuff and I always had stuff from second hand stores or garage sales. All my friends thought we were rich. We were far from it, so I never had to deal with the being picked on. My kids are cool with what ever I get them. We go to second hand stores and garage sales and get stuff on clearance at Walmart or Target. It cost to much with 5 kids to buy everything brand new. I am sorry Gracie isn't feeling well and hope she'll be better soon. I am glad that you and hubby are talking and I hope things are working out for the better. I agree with Windi and what they do. I think it's very important to not talk about each other. But it does go both ways. I know sometimes we need to vent and that's good for us. I still want to send you that stuff to help. I think the whole thing probably with A is that he felt you are disrespecting him when you talk mean about him in your blogs. It's a big deal to them. Know I care and that I am praying for you!!
