MONSOON !

Okay, I do not know what that was, that blew past my house yesterday, but it sure left one big mess for us to cleanup !

WOW ! I have NEVER seen winds so strong and rain so hard .. or so much in a matter of minutes. It was raining sideways, hailing and snapping trees.

As you can see it flipped the kids trampoline, but yet let the Little Tikes toy alone. A fact that my gang thought was hilarious.

I think I had more branches on the ground than the trees, it was horrible to clean up.

Then I looked out the bathroom window this morning when I got up ...and this was what I saw .... Well sorta, because it was higher at that time - this was taken more about noon. I didn't have the camera till A came home.

That was the back yard, and this one is the front. I LITTERALLY had a mote around my house !!!! ( Guess I won't have to go to London to see one - huh, Trish ...lol )

We still don't even know exactly where all the water came from either. It wasn't there at 7 when A left for work, but I got up at 8 and we had our own lake.

Yeeaaaa, so  - much for me saying that we never get much a storm but a clap of thunder!

Oh yea - here's some lightning, hitting our light pole. Pretty cool huh ? I know probably not all too wise, but I couldn't help it.

Oh so anyways - during the monsoon, my kids are freaking out and Hannah starts crying and makes Cameron start to cry ... the tornado siren went off in town and they ran downstairs .... while Brittany ran upstairs and packed a WHOLE bag ! A BAG- PEOPLE ! I just had to laugh at her. Jordan and I were glued at the garage door staring outside and getting all wet. It was awesome, but don't worry - Gracie wasn't far from me - but she was sleeping so she never even knew ...lol. aHHH, to be so little.

So now today Hannah and Cameron are outside having a blast in our new little lake ! HA HA !

Well, that is all I got for now, just wanted  to share that with you guys !!! Hope ya'll are well - Have a great weekend !

TAMMIE :o)

  2. Gracie slept through it?!?! WOW! Yea, I thought of you when I woke up (for the last time) this morning. Then on my way to work I heard we got 2 inches and Tomah got 8-9 inches. I thought of you. I can't believe all that water. It's crazy. I think you guys got it worse than we did but it really was thundering and lightening. I was awake from 1:00am-2:00am...I swear it was constant lightening and thundering. Then again at 4:00am...then once when I was at work. CRAZY! Can't it rain like normal? Geesh :) HA.

Those picture of the lightening...that's cool. Dangerous but cool. Wasn't the thunder loud too?!?!

  3. Hmmm. I am very confused about this weather. I mean, we get that where I go to school but we are only like 20 miles from the coast so it is to be expected. Strange.

  23. OH WOW! You have a whole lake in your yard!!

We got hit pretty hard, but it was just a lot of wind and rain, nothing as bad as you guys had it. My plants didn't even get damaged!

We did have all of umbrellas from the patio at work, fly off, and across the volley ball courts though! That was fun to chase around!
