Hi everyone !!! Here are some thoughts wandering through my head today ....
1) I REALLLY should be up doing something ... anything. Usually I hate sitting still and not getting things done, but today I am not motivated and can't seem to get moving.
2) Last day of school for my kids today - yea ... oh boy !
3) I went through my girls stuffed animals and Gabbage Patch babies last night ... we got rid of alot of stuffed animals. I had bought them both under the bed boxes and what didn't fit in or wasn't faves had to go .... it was just time. So many things all around ! The dollies are another story though - I can't seem to make myself get rid of them... I put them in a box, took off thier clothes and washed them - thinking I was going to give them away - but they ended up back upstairs ... I will find a shelf to sit them on - and I gave Gracie one already. LOL.... dang it they are just too cute ! Good thing they only have like 5 each anyway. All the other non Gabbage Patch ones are already mostly gone. Um .. and don't laugh - I still have one of mine that Hannah plays with - I have had her a long, long time !
4) My girls also collect Wal - Mart gift cards .. ya I know - it is weird, but they like them. Every time we go into Wal- mart they get a few .. so I made them pick the ones out that were extra and keep thier faves. What a collection to have - huh ? Anyway - with the extras they made a memory game out of it for Cameron .. it was actually fun !!
5) Lordie - my allergies and asthma are just driving me insane this week ! I am almost out of my prescriptions too - so I have had to try to do less ... My next doc appointment isn't till the 12th, so hopefully it won't continue to be a problem. :O(
6) Have I told you all how excited I am for my Blog Buddie's weekend to come ??? If I hadn't ... I am ... woo hooo ! I cannot wait to meet Lisa and Anne .. and of course hang out with Win again !!! I am so excited !
7) I seriously think I have toys coming out of the seems .. I swear I get rid of a bunch and then new ones just grow ... I have yet to run my last load to Goodwill, but I might have to add more to it ! How the hec do these toys multiply ???
8) Cameron has really taken to talking this week. He isn't much of a talker - but this week he is saying everything ... that is so exciting too ... I just LUV hearing it. It is so cute (um - except the WHY buisness .. lol ) Today I brought him a toy and he says "Thank you Mommy" ...... awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww - my heart just melted !
9) I am kinda wanting to go see that Sex and The City movie ... wish I had someone to go with ... I won't go alone. No one I know likes that kinda thing - except a few blog people - anyone wanna get together ??
10) Well, I have already racked my brain trying to pull things out to say ... brain farts or something .. lol. So I have gotta go for today - Gracie needs a nap and the laundry needs to be folded ... yet again !

OH Tammie the Gift card thing! My girls do the same thing!! Not just Walmart thought, Target and any store they can get there hands on them! Target has some really neat music ones. I thought that was so funny when you said that. So I don't think it's werid! LOL I love the picture you posted. Oh isn't it funny how much we can give or throw away and there is still tons of toys left??? Yikes!!

One question, do you mean Cabbage Patch or is there actually something called Gabbage Patch? Can you believe I never had one of those as a kid??

ReplyDeleteLOL... I still have my very first one (I had 3) ... I can rremember my Grandma standing in line when they first came out for hours in Chicago to get both my cousin Gary and I one. Mine has red hair and her name was Adria. LOL .... I will have to do a blog on it too !!!

Hey Tammie! I still have my old Cabbage Patch Doll too! My Mom got it for me for Christmas one year when they first came out..she nearly got killed trying to get it! haha! She has her original clothes on and everything..still smells like baby powder..lol. Even still have her Birth Certificate...lol. I kept one of my Wa-mart gift cards I got for X-mas because it had the movie "Christmas Story " on it..that is like my absolute fav.!..lol My allergies have been acting up a little here and there also..I take that Flonaise everyday..it helps me alot. ReplyDeleteI remember the Cabbage Patches..meg had some and then K had one but she just wasnt into them. I remember my sister and I wanted them so bad when they first came out. My mom waited in line for like six hours to get us one!
Sorry about the allergies..i use Zyrtec and singulair and they seem to work prettygood. I also use Rhinocort nose spray everyday. I hope you get some relief!
Yay for the kids out of school! now what hahaha! We still have until the 13th!
