Ok, this has nothing to do with my drinking Margaritas last night ... seriously. 
But that would be fun to talk about ....
Anywhoodle, on with what I have to say. I am a person who hates confrontations ..... seriously - I am all show. I will get all talky and big mouthed ... but when push comes to shove I cower away like a dog with it's tail between his legs. I would rather solve lifes problems by talking things out and sitting down and trying to come to a resolution both parties can agree upon. My hubby is NOT like that.
This morning was rather interesting already ... and it is only 7:30 am . 
Being the fact that I'm usually never awake at this butt crack of dawn hour .. that should say something ! lol.
So, My son Jordan was "supposed" to be kicked off of the bus for 3 days starting today .. and I say "supposed to" because A went out to the bus with the kids this morning and made Jordan get on the bus. Jordan is very much like me in that he will be all talk and no show. He'd originally got kicked off for refusing to put away his iPod 
on the bus that Harold the dumbass bus driver (HDBD) said he couldn't use. Jordan loves country music and hates the fact that HDBD plays rock or rap crap on the bus .. or hip hop - what ever they call it - so today Jordan goes up to the bus door this morning and HDBD says you cannot ride my bus. Then it happened ... HDBD and my hubby; A got into a fight, um arguement. Ya'll know my hubby has anger issues - so I was expecting something full on like a fist fight or something, but thankfully that did not happen. HDBD is the pervert that was talking about his "private" areas not so privately the other day to the kids ... (to which I STILL have heard not one thing about and he is still driving my kids to school) ... anyway ... the fact that he can do whatever he wants I *think* is what sent the hubby into his morning tizzy, but like I said, being non confrontational I sit here worring what the backlash will be from this. Will Jordan get to school ok ?, Who is going to call me ? ... you know - all kinds of Q's running through my head.
HDBD told A that he was going to call the Sheriffs office on him ... 
but as of right now I have not seen no Sheriff. Geeze ... and I thought my day was going to be dull !!!! LOL !
Crap, I am going to go back to bed

OK, gracie is HOW old - and you get to sleep past 7.30 most days? my days usually start at 5.30...6 if I'm lucky. And I don't NEED to get up till 8 - if my flucking (but oh so cute) kids would sleep till 8 - I could get us all ready for the day, drop off at school and be to work by 9. Damn skippy I'm jealous.

HDBD needs to check himself, and even if your man has anger issues - GAH, the dude is a perv!

HDBD should be reported for playing music at all. He should be driving, not listening to music.

All I can say to this (having been in a confrontation w/a bus driver before) is make sure you don't cuss in front of the kids. It's against the law and I never knew it was actually a law (well, in Florida it is) until I did it.
ReplyDeleteA bus driver grabbed Kayla by the arm back in middle school and the next morning I was at the bus stop waiting for the bus with her. I confronted the bus driver (I never got on the bus, I did it from the outside of her door) and told her (in front of all the kids) that if she EVER put her hand on my kid again I would yank her ass off that bus and beat the shit out of her. She went to the school, notified the principal and school police to which they called me down to the school. When I arrived we had a meeting but the police officer immediately told me that he could arrrest me for cussing in front of the kids. I had no idea and quite frankly when it comes to someone putting their hands on my kid, I'll glady go to jail. The school of course sided with the bus driver and said Kayla MUST have done something. I told them I didn't care what she did, if anything, that bus driver still doesn't have the right to grab my child & then I looked at the bus driver again right in front of everyone in that meeting and told her again that she'd better NEVER do it again or else I'd do what I said before. Then I walked out with Kayla and that was the end of it. No backlash, before long that bus driver wasn't the one driving that bus anymore for some reason. I never found out why.
So, good luck with it all. I say call the school board about the bus driver again and don't back down until they do something. YOU HAVE RIGHTS!!!

ReplyDeleteI would have been mad too ... but I am not usually the one that does the confronting .. A does it most the time with things like this and to tell him not to use swear words is like to tell a fat lady not to eat .... lol.
But hey, it mght be worth a shot ! lol.
