Wow ... I finally have an excuse to sit myself down ... it is raining. Whew ....what a rediculously insane few days it has been here.
Tuesday was our payday so I had all kinds of running to do, pay the bills and get some things done. It wasn't a very good day anyway ---- but suprisingly the hubby got a nice spurt and drove me down to the Dells for another of my favorite restaurants ... The Cracker Barrel. OMG - I love that place. So it was so very nice.
Wednesday Jordan had a doc appointment to get out the stitches from his mole removal and then had to go to court ... for truency. TOTALLY dumb in my opinion, but if you are late to class more than 3 times, they consider you truent and send you to court. My lord, he wasn't ditching class or not showing up at all, he was late ... I say get over it.
So anway the doctor and judge were both running late, so those two appointments ended up taking the whole day up, but when we got home it was still so nice out that we got a walk in - which was nice. Then we came back to the house to tidy up and start a brush/ rubbish pile on fire to get rid of it.
Today it is raining, but I still have to go do my grocery shopping at some point and stop at the lumberyard as well as collect our garbage up again. I am really just beat and was thinking about taking a little nap, but I doubt that will happen. My visitor is here with me and it always makes me so achey feeling, you know like tired or something. I can't wait till the visitor leaves - and thankfuly it seems to be going back to normal - slowly. Little cramps and two days now. I'll be happier when I get back to my norm.
OOh I have to go to the pet store later too, I wanted to look at getting more fish and need some stuff for Smokey.
Well, I am going to go rest ... sorry I am so behind again on blogs, I will when I get a chance tho.

I love the Country Fried Steak and Gravy!..oh and the Turnip Greens..mmmm! ok..now I'm getting hungry!!..lol I have to go Grocery Shopping today too..yuk!..we r out of everything! I can't believe u had to go to Court over him just being LATE!..That's carzy! I can understand if he was totally skipping school. but just Tardy is ridiculous! So what did they end up doing anyway? ReplyDeleteOHH, DUHHH... I forgot to write that part. Yes he had to go to court over being tardy and if he gets any more they will delay his getting his license for a year. Like I said, I think it is dumb --- they really should find better things to do.

The judge was late???? Send him to Truency court, shame on him!!! lmfao!!! Sorry but that takes balls to be late for a court hearing about someone being late.

Oh...out of curiosity, have you been tested to see if you're anemic? Sometimes if you are mildly anemic, then the visitor just makes it that much worse. Something to think about :-)

Pam: Yes, I have had anemia before ... I have big problems with iron, I take prenatal vitamins sometimes to help, because iron makes me so sick. I have "alloimmunocombocytopenia" which is an immune system disorder and it makes my body do really wonky things sometimes. That iron thing is one I guess and it is no fun. :O(
Yes, we live in Wisconsin - about a half hour from the Dells. (LaCrosse area) I am still not used to it, but it is slowly feeling more like home. I am from the south side of Chicago.... and it is amazing how different the weather is.
The judge / court thing is ALL stupid, - late.... not late, I think it is just gay and petty. Geeze, aren't there other things to worry about these days but being late to class ? Or are they trying to fine me the 200 dollars to make money ... yes, that is what I said. :O(
GAAAAAAHHHH, Now I have to run out the door again ... will I ever get caught up ??? :O(
ReplyDeleteI started taking prenatals earier this year because I was so dead tired, I could barely function. And then after a physical, found out I was highly anemic...so I've been taking prenatals and iron supplements since and feel loads better. I don't absord vitamins normally sooo the extra dose helps out.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you HAVE been keeping busy. It's rainy here too today. Then I hear it's supposed to get cooler. I'm not looking forward to THAT at all:( I was used to going for walks and enjoying the out doors. Never know with spring in WI! :)

Hello Tammie --been tardy myself here -- so dont send me a summons! Just so happens ome of the guys at work had the same damn thing happen-his daughter in the 2nd grade has been tardy for some reason and although she's a straight "A" student he has to go to court for some crap! He was toalyy pissed! Maybe she gets there 2 seconds after the bell or something ! I guess it's the school trying to be helpful but it's really annoying for sure -- love ya -- see ya soon ---jim
ReplyDeleteI also think our taxes should be going to more important things than court hearings for kids that are late to class. It's just being taken a little to far. Kayla has 1 week left of school and she's done! I wish David was closer because I HATE the public school system. Sorry to any teachers out there, nothing against you but the rules now a days and crap that goes on in the public school system are ridiculous. Oh don't even get me started! I think they are just on power trips personally. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteCourt for Truency? Hmmm...I got an email letting me know that if Griffin had one more tardy in one class he'd have a detention, but he told me he has to walk from one end of the school to the other for that class and it's really hard to make it on time with all the kids in the school.

OH wow on the Court, don't they have detention anymore?? I don't think that has happen here yet. OH I love Cracker Barrell! Haven't been there in a while but I love the Grilled Chicken. Yummy!!! And what's really funny..is that the Judge was late for court!..LOL!!! ...oh..and as for Cracker Barrel..I forgot to mention the Hashbrown Casserole..too die for!..hehe! Anyways got my Grocery shopping done last night and got gas..$23.00 for only half a tank..for a little Saturn SL ! OMG! I'm gonna get in the kitchen here shortly and make Homemade Spaghetti..and let it simmer all afternoon..hadn't made that in awhile..Hubby was asking for it, so I got all the stuff..put everything but the kitchen sink in it!..LOL Can't wait for Sun.!
