HI GUYS !!! :o)
I have been on a picture bender lately - maybe cuz spring just *might* be here, but I wanted to share some of them with you today.
I was going to go outside with my laptop this afternoon and do this - it is almost 50 outside - WOO HOO ! But Gracie had just fallen asleep and plus I worried if it was a bit too chilly for her yet. I still might go outside once the kids get home though. :O)
Anyway ---- This is what happened when I looked at her just before her nap this afternoon ....
Wa-Bam ... just like that ! She flipped over to her belly !!!
Ahhh. next we have Cameron ... now normally we cannot get the boy to eat anything .... not McDonald's ... not Good Stuff ... bad stuff ... whatever. The boy just don't eat ! I swear I have tried almost everything .... anyway .... Today - I found something he does like !
It was a huge bag of Rold Gold Pretzels !!! HA HA ! I bought the bag for a recipe I'm gonna show you - but he took off with it and sat right on down at watched the Backyardigans and ate them !
Now we have my recipe .... Celery Butterflies !
And Cameron who liked his so much ... he licked it clean !
HOW TO MAKE THESE:
It's easy - all you need is: Celery, BIG pretzels, squeeze Cheese (like Easy Cheese) or you can use peanut butter, or cream cheese - and raisins for the eyes.
Put together and *WA- LA* you have
Celery Butterflies !
Now we have the story of the day here ....
Someone (we don't know who) found Hannah's stolen book bag..... yaa - it was missing three weeks ! Can you believe it ? Although, it was returned to her with NOTHING in it ... none of her books, or personal items like her jacket and gloves that were in it.
The girl that stole it said " It's not my fault that I like Tinkerbell so much" ...... CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT ? Hmmm, lemme see - if my kids brought home a book bag that wasn't theirs, I would SERIOUSLY question that !!! WHAT are these parents of this child thinking ?????? I am still going to go see what happened to her stuff though. How rude- something should be done.
Okay --- now finally we have the pictures that I want your decison on. This is for my profile picture - I took them myself, but - you know me - I don't really like any of them AT ALL ! Soooo - help me decide which one is better . ok ??

ReplyDeletesecond - I love those celery butterflies!! My daughter made butterflies with cupcakes at school. They were very cute and same idea with the pretzel wings.
third - I'm with you, if my kid came home with someone else's backpack I'd have to hurt her!
fourth - your pics are GREAT! I like the second one and then the third one. :) You didn't scare me!
I am in a bit of a rush but I like #2 best. They are all great though!!!!

I'll have to try that sometime! Oh wow on her rolling over. Look out she's ready to go! LOL I am glad you found Hannah backpack but it's empty and the girl that took it brought it back?? Do I understand that right?? If it was me I would be talking to that girls parents and talking to the school. Where is the other stuff? I sure encourage you to get with them and get something done. This blog was GREAT! I love picture blogs and the way they tell the story so well. :o) As for your pictures, I think they are ALL good. So I vote that you use them all and just switch them around from day to day or so.

ReplyDeleteOMG, I can’t believe someone stole her book bag. And so freaking odd to get the bag back but nothing in it. What kind of stuff did she have inside besides school books? I mean what kid wants to steal school books? How do you know what the girl who stole it said…. was there a note? Sorry so many questions. : ) I think I’d have to force the issue with the school about where the inside contents are. And you’re correct; I can’t imagine how the parent’s didn’t understand a strange bag came home with their kid.
And I liked your expression in No. 4 but it’s a tad bit unclear so I guess I’ll go for 3 instead.
How cute! I like 1 and 2 best...but I'm gonna have to go w/2 as my fav.!

Pictures 1 and 2 are non-starters. You are a mother of 5, apparently, so if you include one kid, you may as well include them all.
