TUESDAY TEN ...

Hello everyone .. happy Tuesday to you ! Mine is going pretty well but will be busy later. Pic today, is of Gracie this morning. Now for my ten ...

1) Gracie was extra cranky all day yesterday, I don't really know why, but today she seems to be a little better. None the less, I called the doc to make her an appointment this morning and he said that he wanted to see her this afternoon. Windi you are right - whooping cough is going around and he said that with the stuff I told him, her coughing at night only, etc. he wanted to see her really quick, so will go this afternoon at 4 for that.

2) My son Cameron is driving me nutsy today. Just a minute ago he was getting upset because he couldn't find his "whoop whoop cup". (Whoop whoop - means Thomas the train) I told him it was probably up stairs by his bed and he says "NANA - BB AT COOL" (that means hannah and brittany are at school) so he kept saying that and I said that didn't matter if he wanted his cup that had nothing to do with them being at school, so finally I got him to go upstairs and look for it and he found it. Now he's running around in circles saying, "wink, wink, wink" (drink) lol .... where does this kid get this energy ???

3) I have had about ENOUGH of Yo Gabba Gabba today .... not to mention all these shows they are on my nerves. I have noticed that when he watches them though, he actually pays attention to what they are saying tho and will do what they are doing. I am glad to see in a way though that he is starting to learn to folow direction and sing along, etc. Good lessons for school .... so maybe the shows aren't so bad, but they sure get annoying to listen too.

4) Now he's running around yelling "mine ball, mine ball" he's throwing it, what is he gonna hit I wonder.... oh my.

5) UGH, last night we had a situation here with Hannah (my 10 year old).... as most of you know she has some difficulties with some things. (she was a preemie, had meningitis and had a stoke as a baby) so I go tell her to take a shower and she gets in, Brittany helps her start the water and she washes up .... Brittany goes to do her homework then and about 20 minutes later she is screaming, Brittany's name. So Brittany waits a few minutes more - finishes her work and then goes to see what Hannah wants. OH My... Hannah was sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor, no clothing on, hudelled up cold and shivering saying she didn't have a towel. Britt goes to get her a towel. OHHHHHH, I tell you days like this are hard sometimes. As we still don't know the full extent the meningitis and strokes had on her it is becoming more appearant they may have been more than we thought. Brittany started to shower on her own at about 7 or 8 and Hannah is 10 and still having trouble, I know kids are different, but like I said - sometimes it is just hard. I have a hard time understanding this. I still have to schedule her yearly MRI.... but atleast this is something I can tell the doctors.

6) Ah, well we found out about our tax return last night, I went to go sign them and told her we couldn't pay for it for a few days or so yet, she said that was fine and had some questions about the lawsuit going on with our house and all, but said the return was pretty good. We had alot of deductions this year as I donated to a bunch of things so that definitly helped alot. We are getting more than last year so I am glad - although almost EVERY penny will be spoken for - it is all going to pay off all our bills. I hate debt, so it has to go. I would have liked to have extra to go somewhere - like to DisneyWorld or something, but I have to be realistic here. Someday I will go though.

7) It is snowing here again today. We have a snow advisory/winter storm watch out .... they are saying 5 inches but don't look so much yet. Doubt the kids will get out early today or anything. I know you've all heard me say it before --- but I AM SOOOOO READY for spring it isn't even funny ! I never want to see white AGAIN !

8) Luckily tho, the sun was out for a bit of time yesterday ... made me feel a bit better. Plus I got out and had to go to the store, not fun, but was nice to go out of the house. Got some advice from someone and it is helping alot.

9) I still have to put my groceries away from yesterday. I was being lazy and didn't want to do it last night. So they are still sitting on the counter. lol.

10) Things are gonna be a changing here, don't know when or just how yet - but I am working on a plan, so that is a start. I think as long as I can remain positive the outlook will be better. I do plan to blog about it though when I have alot more time.

Yaaaa, more TIME ???? HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHA - WHAT IS THAT ?

OK, I am off ya'll gotta do my stuff about the house today and hopefully hop in the shower before we have to run to the doc's. I may have to tie my son to a chair to do it, but by golly - I need to get in the shower !
