Hello everyone - hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Ours has been a bit strange. As some of you may know my husband has been home from work since before the Christmas holiday. (He'd gotten into an disagreement with his CSM and was asked to leave without return to this unit) so, since he is AGR and not regular active duty anymore we've had no money coming in - right. So on Friday he finally got a call that he was most likely going to be transferred to a unit in Ft. Benning, Georgia. ...???? CAN IT BE ????.. can it really be ??. Well, now we've had similar situations arise before with no outcome .... but since I hate, hate, hate all the cold up here in Wisconsin - not to mention MOST of the people ! I will be more than happy to go ! I swear they are all cracked or something up here ... maybe they have bi-polar or something, I dunno - but with only one handful of normal folks I have met here and usually they are not even "from here" ... I will be more than happy to hear No more talk about drinking all the time or the stupid Green Bay Packers .... whew ! Not to mention the best part of all .... no cold ! ~ I like moving, yea, call me an oddball - but it is true. My hubby is the one who don't like moving - go figure - being in the military ... lol.
So we find out Monday if this is a serious thing this time or just talk again. If it is serious, I have concerns about our house and the situation with it. We have over 45 thousand built up in equity and don't want to just leave it, but with the title company having messed everything up, we can't sell it till the situation is fixed ... so, ugh .... what to do ?! Good thing though, since the taxes went up and we wanted to sell anyways, it might potentially be a good thing - of course the Lord will let it happen if it is meant to, I suppose --- I will just hold on to faith and see what happens. I figure, in the end it will work out as it is meant to.
Well, other than that - I still have not taken the tree down - funny how it took me so long to get it up this year - but I am actually enjoying it being there. Oh well - I plan that tommorrow is the best day to do it -even if we are not moving right away, it is good to get rid of things and keep myself organized. Hey, plus, I don't want to be the only weirdo with thier tree up for Valentines ha ha ha !
Brittany stayed the night at her friends house again last night and kept texting me with her phone - like 95 times. I must admit it, it made me feel good that she wanted to share everything with me and she told me that she missed me. I know when I was 14, I hated being around my parents ... but then again that is the relationship we've always had and I wanted so much more with my children.
Well, since there is no money coming in on the next expected payday, I am concerned that our internet will be shut off soon. We've already been short on funds as it is, so I had to leave that bill out when it was due. I have no idea what we are going to do if we don't get money soon, since the identity theft - we have NO money in savings what so ever. Food is a concern and I must admit it worries me.
Gracie has been sleeping better the last two nights ---- but that doesn't mean that I have. My schedule is all messed up and I always have such a tough time getting back to normal. I stayed up most of the night into Friday working on my Multiply page. Wanted to get that set up - just in case Yahoo does a belly flop. I hope to see some of you over there, but, yes, I still do plan to stay here and will probably do blogs in both places till I get tired of it or whatever is going on .. does what ever it is going to do. I have gotten most of your email addy's too just in case, but if I haven't; and you want me to have it, just message me with it and I will then message mine back to you. My dear friends mean alot to me here and I don't want to lose you.
Well, I guess that I will go for this evening, I have to fix dinner yet and do a load of laundry. What fun !Hope that something interesting is on TV later - but if it is like it has been - that will most likely be a no. Oh well, I guess I will find something to do. I like to move too! I think its always an adventure the few times that i have moved. I am glad you are looking at it positive...
ReplyDeleteSorry about the financial situation...i hope that somehow that can change! I know how hard that can be! I am glad you have enjoyed your tree being up this long! After christmas i was ready just to have things back to normal. we put ours up this year right after thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteDang there is a lot going on over there. William is in here fussing at me as I read the frikkin blog to him about your husband and his issues with his unit CSM. He's also in here saying that he doesn't want to end up in 3rd ID which is down in Ft Benning Ga. Tell them you want Bragg. I gotta admit, I complain about it a lot, but compared to some other bases it ain't half bad. Take it easy and I'll talk with you later, k?

I was always excited about moving too. Right now, I don't want to move ever again, but that's because we've just got a great deal here. If Matt ends up having to relocate to find a job, we'll be moving south too. We've been seriously considering Kentucky, of all places....if the current job tanks and we HAVE to move. Otherwise, we will be staying right here! :)
