Well, today is Friday and it is "Spillin' the beans" day ... for all of you who asked me those burning questions on Monday ... today, my friends - I have the answers for you ! I will go in order of how they came in, unless you posted more than one question, then I will post all your together. I am not usually the type to answer a question with one word, so with many, I wrote more and with some I even took pictures ! Wow, there were a few hard ones in there and a sneaky one too, but no foolin' ... here they are !
1) WINDI's questions :
ooooo, a questions blog!! Ok....let's see now....
What is your favorite food of all time, and your least favorite?
If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would it be, and why?
Where do you think society will be in, say....100 years?
can't wait for the answers!!! :)~
MY ANSWERS:
1) Fave food of all time .... Well now, that is hard, because I like so many things - my fave type of meal is a buffet or Thanksgiving style, mainly because I can take a little of everything .... but if I have to choose one type, it would be VEGGIES ! I love veggies ! Okra, cabbage, asparagus, spinach, Lima Beans, Brussel Sprouts, Corn ...any of them and have a hard time thinking of ones I don't like.
2) Least fave ... easiest ... LIVER !
3) If I could go anywhere on vacation .... Well, I would have to say it would probably be either Australia or the USVI's. I love to swim and that would be the best place to go to see all the best things (scuba, snorkeling, etc.) ... plus it is forever warm most the time - a definite plus !
4) Where do I think society will be in 100 years ? HMMMMM, now that is a hard one, and I am almost afraid to answer it. Positvely, I want to say better ... but I am afraid that it will not be. I am afraid of the micro chip becoming a major thing for people tracking and security issues and am afraid that greed will over run the earth. I am afraid that our children will never know what true hard work is or how to be healthy and not sit in front of tv's .... whew, that is just a few, but it is depressing me !
NOW 2nd to ask was Sunshine .....
Sunshine's questions ....

If you get stationed out here at Ft Bragg are you gonna pay me a visit? Ok okay, that's not really my question.
My real question is, do you like to read? If so, what type of books do you enjoy?
I remember once you said you loved military life... so I guess my question is Why? What is it about being a military family that you love?
and ... I'm sure you've mentioned it in a previous blog, but I don't sit still long enough to read back into your blogs. I remember you saying that it's against your religion to cut your hair... and I remember how strict your parents were about you swimming in public once you became a teenager... so my question is What exactly your religion? I mean I know you're Christian, I remember reading that somewhere, but which "branch" of the Christianity tree?
MY ANSWERS :
1) Visiting you ... Yes, I know it wasn't your real question, but if you were ok with it, I would - I never just drop in on some one - that is rude.
2) Reading ... Yes, I enjoy reading. My favorite books are the "Little House" series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, other than that I like to read time period stories about people like Wyatt Earp or things around that time. (1876-ish) I enjoy stories by Earnest Hemingway or Truman Capote ... I like true stories or stories about things that really can exist. I don't care for fiction or violence of any kind, I don't deal with it well and I don't like those romance novels either. In some of my spare time I have read the dictionary, the encyclopedia or many medical journals. It took me a long time tho, but I did get through "Grey's Anatomy" ... I love to learn about many fields of medicine !
3) Military life .... I like it most because it allows me to stay home with my children, military people are closer then civilians in alot of ways and I LOVE to move !
4) Religion ... Growing up my parents were Baptist, strong baptist's, not sure if that means southern baptist or not, but as I got older they went to a pentacostal church. I wasn't around for that too long, but have since gone back to being baptist's.
3RD TO ASK QUESTIONS WAS LEXI:
LEXI'S QUESTIONS:
What is your favorite thing about Adam?
Where would you want to live for the rest of your life?
That is all I have for now!
MY ANSWERS:
1) Fave thing about Adam???? OOOh, now that IS hard .. you'd think after 17 years it would be easy, but it isn't ... there are so many things that I DO like that I can't decide on just one. So, I will name a few ...
I love that after all this time, I can still be in love with him ... I love that we agree on alot of things from discipling the kids to how things are in life, I love that we get along so well and even love it when we fight. I love that we have learned to work together on a similar goal in life, I love that he can make me laugh when I feel like being down ... This could take all day, so that is it for now.
2) Where would I want to live the rest of my life ? Ooh, easy. I like moving around too much, so maybe in an RV... but if it had to be one place it would have to be warm with NO snow !
4TH TO ASK QUESTIONS WAS SOCCER COACH:
S-C'S QUESTION:
Since you HATE Wisconsin so much, where would you rather live??
MY ANSWER:
I would really like to live somewhere warm, I love summer and heat, so down south sounds really nice, plus I know the ppl really like nascar and country music - we'd get along great ! BEACH ... can't say that enough !
5th FOR QUESTIONS WAS COOKIE:
COOKIES QUESTIONS :
Ok. I've been thinking about this for 2 days and I think I have come up with a few questions. You said once before you have 4 tattoos and at one time you had 13 piercings. What are your tattoos of and where on you are they? Where were your piercings and how many do you still have? And would you allow your children, boy or girl, to have a tattoo or piercing?
1) Tat's, yes, I have them, I have 5 that I can show and two that I won't. I drew all of my own and I'll try to include pictures and explain them at the end, as for the piercings, I no longer have any of them in - I did take them out a while back as I didn't want to be one of those old women who try to be younger - that is gross. They were all done by me mostly and I had one , in my nose, my tounge, my belly button, ears (4), eyebrow, bottom lip, and 2 in the private area. (don't ask)
I don't know that I would be so receptive to my kids getting tats though as they don't come off once they are on, but pirecings come out and that would be better, even though I really don't think they should.
TAT'S : Picture #1 is a CROC (on my right wrist).... mostly because I was a major Steve Irwin fan ! But it also serves as a reminder to me that everything in life is beautiful even if it seems ugly !
#2 - Is the first one I had gotten done by a friend who was learning (can you tell?) It is supposed to be a heart which is on my left breast.
#3 - Is on my right shoulder, it is of a heart with a sword through it, with fire around it. It was to signify my school days and the hurt I felt.
#4 & 5 are both on my back. The butterfly is more up by my shoulder while the fairy is on my lower back - They were both supposed to be of a big scene to signify beauty, but I could not take to get it finsihed, it was very painful. (maybe why the beauty never came?)
6TH FOR QUESTIONS WAS MICHELLE:
MICHELLE'S QUESTIONS:
Umm lets see here..... If you did not have any children, where do you think your life would have taken you?? DO you think you would be where you are today??
OOO another one, God, I forgot you were PG. Ooops! DO you know what you are having or do you secretly wish for one or the other??
MY ANSWERS:
1) Life... I really want to answer this question, but I am not sure how to do so. My life was in turmoil at school so If I had not met Adam and got pregnant, I have no idea where I would be.
2) Yes, we do know what we are having, but I never wished for one over the other, we have two of each already, so that meant either was good with me.
7TH FOR QUESTIONS WAS BRANDI:
BRANDI'S QUESTION:
hmmm...When you look at each of your children, what do you see them doing for a career in their lifetime? Like I see my Grace and I know she's gonna do something with animals; so what do you see your own kids doing?
MY ANSWER:
Yes, I can see each of them doing something separate. Jordan (16) whose first word ever was "CA" (we lived in Jersey) has ALWAYS been focused on cars, and plans to get an automotive engieneering degree, Brittany (13) has been focused on dance since the age of 2, and is now entering her 11th year of ballet and tap. She woud like to go to Juliard someday. Hannah (10) is a special needs child and has had alot of problems, so to focus on that for her, would be hard. Cameron who is 2 right now, I think is still too young to guess on , but trains may be it, if it stays as it is now ... or a track runner lol !
8th IN LINE WAS ADAM:

10th to go was CG :

COOKIE's QUESTION WAS:

I thought of another one. You said you enjoy military life. I too was a military wife. (1st husband was in the Marines and 2nd/Current hubbie was in the Navy.) Knowing everything your husband has been through in the military and knowing everything the family goes through being a military family would you encourge your children to join the military or support their decision to join the military?
MY ANSWER:
Yes, astoundingly so. I would support that if they wanted it. I must admit though, it scares the crap out of me right now.
