OK ... Still it is not perfect ...but I think I have finally got it !!!! Thank You SOOOOO very much Chris and Windi for finally helping me get the hang of this, I told ya' all I was not at all computer savvy ! LOL ! :O)
Anyway .... vacation time is our fave time of the year, our vacations are centered always around an "America" theme, so we take them the week of July 4th and watch the fireworks in a new place each year ! Our last vacation was in Utah in July of 2005 (last year we were closing on this house ... grrrr !) and I wanted to share some of our photos in my blog with you all as well as learn how to add more than one photo to my blogs.
These are only some of the photos that I have from that trip, but they are my fave's. Our trip for the most part was in Moab, Utah - which is near Arches National Park, but My most fave place ever is in Monument Valley. (the main picture that I usually have up. It was also shown in the movie Forrest Gump.) Monument Valley is on an Indian Reservation on the South Eastern tip of Utah on a really out of the way tiny road, in the middle of no where. But the drive is so worth it, we had a great day and ate our camp lunch on the top of the hill in a shack that was there where we took the pictures. Not too many people go by and it is so very peaceful. I can honestly tell you that it is probably and easily our fave place on earth. Adam and I really love the feel of the old west and what more perfect a place than this ? There is so much history and so much to do that I would recommend taking this trip to anyone ! Hiking is a must if you wish to see alot of Arches National Park, however if you go in July like we did, bring tons of water because it gets HOT in no time flat ! We'd wake up like normal campers to an awesome sunrise, eat breakfast and by the time we got to where we wanted to be it was hot, hot, hot. The KOA campground in Moab was an awesome visitors delight, they had a great pool and took care of people very well ! All I can say is that I can not wait to go on vacation again - it is coming, and I am sooo looking forward to it !
Well, that is all I have to say today, I will have to dig up some of the other pictures that I have and show you all of our other trips that we've taken. We've all agreed that our fave trip was in 2003 to San Fransisco, Disneyland, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Denver. So, I think that is what I will share next. I know my kids would talk of it for hours if I let them ! LOL !
