A NICE SUPRISE !

Well, HELLO everyone out in 360 land, it is Tuesday and I have nothing particular planned other than normalties around the house and with the kids. It is 11:30 and my son Jordan is still at summer school, Brittany is still asleep, and Hannah and Cameron are the only ones playing ... but atleast they are being quiet, and as I last looked they were reading some books, so that was nice.

Anyway, my husband Adam came home last night with a nice suprise for us,( no - it's not that we're moving ...yet ...dang it !) but, this man cannot keep a secret to save his life, and (as he said) was something that he was going to suprise us with this weekend as it is also our daughter Hannah's 10th birthday (perfect since we DON'T "do" parties for the kids) but,alas ... he just couldn't keep it from us. The secret was that we all get a small weekend vacation to Noah's Ark in the Dells ... and as we live probably 30 minutes north of the Dells, it isn't too bad for conserving gas. Luckily, he was able to get the tickets because a buddy of his from his unit can't go and oddly had just enough tickets for all of us. I think this will be a fun start of the summer treat for the kids and a nice respite from the ordinary before we really go on vacation. I know that kids will have a blast and have been begging to go swimming for awhile now, I on the other hand just plan to watch them have all the fun - I do not think that fat people need to show all that buisness in public and since I am now chunkier , it just is not happening ! Yes, I know I have an excuse here, I am pregnant, but no, it is just not happening !

Adam also told me yesterday evening; that the problems with a civilian girl that works with his unit have steadily gotten worse and she is now threatening people to complain about it being a hostile work environment, etc. Soooo, a few days back Adam requested to leave to building that he is in and move to another as he cannot do his job accordingly..... and I guess his friend did the same, so this week they are moving to do another job on post, because no one wants to fight this civilian girl and her so called complaints. They would rather just let her get her way, which I so don't understand. How can the military be productive with people like this imbedded into it ??? I think it is all BS, but Adam says to just leave things alone, we'll be gone soon (hopefully) and it will not be a bother to us. I sure wish people would set her straight though ! Kinda stupid he has to leave his area to please somebody else or to keep the peace. But that is the military for ya' !

Well, I guess I should get on with my things for the day here - or they won't get done ... I also have to run to town this evening which takes almost an hour if you want anything other than Wally World (Wal-Mart) - which of course I do - seeing as though I am still in need of getting Hannah's birthday gifts, a few odds and ends and some other things as well. I really hate going though, gas prices are so stinky and I would rather not spend the money I have on friggin' gas ! But what can you do, I try not to buy it, we are already down to limiting ourselves to one fill up per payday ($ 75.00) and ONE run to town. So if I forget something, I have to go to Wally World ...lol. Oh well, I am tired of it .... maybe I really should consider a moped or a horse ! You got me !

Well, enough of my blabbing, I don't like to/ try not to dwell on the negative, so just ignore that last bit ... lol !
