Hello everyone - hope that all had a great Mothers Day, mine with Jeff's win was alot better than it seemed. What an awesome job my Jeff did again ! Way 2 go ! I just love Jeff !
On another note - we all wish Dale Jr. well with his switch from DEI .... we personally think Teresa is being rediculous and that Sr. would have a fit - he made the company for his kids, not her....duh.... he never kept that a secret ! I just think she is more interested in money than anything else, just silly and stupid, she'll regret it, I'm sure !
As far as Mothers day went I felt sick and nauseous most of the day, I kept falling asleep on and off which was driving me crazy because I didn't want to sleep. I think I must have been really tired and needed it, good thing it was Mothers day ! ha ha ha - Just kidding ! Na, the day started off ok, Adam made breakfast for me and the kids which was sooo good and since we did work really hard on Saturday doing alot of odds and ends around here, sitting around once I guess is ok. Other than that , I guess Mothers day was pretty good. My kids all made me cards and Hannah brought home a "fish" sculpture that she made at school - I will take a picture of it to have up here this afternoon - that is - if I can remember ! I always forget !
The latter part of last week and Saturday was spent doing alot of odds and ends around the house...you know little things you put off and you don't know why. I ended up buying a few "space bags" for things like winter coats and blankets, which so far have worked out great and fit wonderfully under my bed out of the way. I painted a shelf that is in built into the wall and needed a new coat of paint, after some scraping of old paint....or what was left of it anyway, I painted all the trim around the outside of the windows - upstairs and down, it soooo needed to be done and looks so much better.....then I cleaned all the windows and screens really good. I do not think that it had been done in quite along time, they were really filthy ! I figure all the little things will add up eventually in some way, but it does look so much better than it did. Then on Saturday we fixed our deck, it did end up taking most of the day and a few dollars too, but it is fixed and looking much better now. It had some rotten spots and some damage to it, so it was driving us nuts ... we took a "built on" bench off and the whole stairway - which we ended up moving to the whole other side so that you don't have to walk all the way around the whole porch to get onto it, we don't know why the last people put it where they did, but now atleast it is near the walk way and not on the other side. Anyway, now the deck looks alot bigger and has a better set up, I dunno.
Well, today is already quite warm ... thermometer says it is already 79 out ... but it has gotten quite windy and hazy out and I hear it is supposed to storm, but no tellin if it actually will or not. Sometimes they say it will, but it don't ...so I figure I will find something to tinker with around here. Inside or outside ... there is always something to be done ! Still planning to seel even though NC didn't work out ... however Adam was personally recommended (by a Major) for a job near Atlanta, ( I don't know the post's name) so good chance here....we are hoping !!!!!!! :)
Well, I guess that I have blabbed enough about my week, My son Cameron just woke up and wants to eat ... so I had better go feed him. I will write more in a few days ...have doctors appt's Tuesday and a court date on Wednesday, but maybe on Thursday I will have a second ...lol.
